SPAIN RESULTS (out of 33 interviewees) 1-What kind of school degree are you studying this year?

People of 16 - 18 are studying Bachillerato (technology, humanistic, social or scientific) People of 19 - 25 are studying a college degree, a vocational training course or a master (English philology, education, mathematics, Catalan philology, tourism, biomedicine, engineering, biomedicine, psychology, nursing, medicine, speech, sports techniques, modern literature, Spanish philology, energy engineering, technology, marketing and advertising, humanities, economics, law,
sports sciences) And two people arent studying this year.

And what do you what to study in the future?

16 - 18 years. Those who are studying Bachillerato want to study a college degree (computer science and programming, biomedicine, administration and management, economics, tourism, psychology). 19 - 25 years. Some of them are already studying their career, others want to do a master too.

6- Do you think youll live abroad because of work? Why?

Around the 90 % of the young people that weve interviewed say that theyll probably live abroad because of work, thats a very negative perspective of the future of our country. Some of the reasons they have are: - Here there arent many opportunities, everybody go abroad. - If I cant find work, its logical that I go to another place. - Because outside is easier to find work and a salary more appropriate. - Because I've experienced it once, and is a good choice. - There arent many offers and I would like to improve my English. - Because I'm sure I wont find work here, and I want to go abroad soon. - If everything goes wrong, I guess I'll go.

7-Are you optimistic thinking about your future? Why?

Although almost everyone thinks going out of Spain, some of they are optimistic about their future. They said: - Weve to be optimistic, weve to start our studies thinking that well find a job. - We should always be. - In my future yes, but in the future of my country Im not optimistic. - Because I believe in myself. - I'm not optimistic, especially in my area (education). - I think I will be able to find a job even if the situation doesnt help. - Because going to another country doesnt give me very good vibes.
