    In 1998, I submitted two papers entitled "Towards the Final state of spherical gravitational collapse" and "likely source of gamma ray bursts" These two papers first claimed that for physical gravityal collapse, no trapped surface or Black Hole is formed in finite proper time. Later I met Prof. P.C. Vaidya, who started the concept of radiative physical gravitational collapsing.

    YourspeedpostletterreachedmeonMay2nd,yourconclusioninthefirstpaperthatattheendofthe
    gravitationalcollapse,allthematterofthecontractingsphereisconvertedintoradiationremembered
    meofsomeearlierwork.ThefirstparagraphofanotepublishedinCurrentSciences28,399(1959)[a
    reprintofwhichisenclosedherewith]isreproducedbelow:
    ``FollowingVaidya1,Raychaudhury2firstconsideredthecaseofamassparticlebeingcompletely
    annihilatedandconvertedintoradiation.Hefoundthatsuchaprocesscouldnotbeadequately
    describedbythefieldequationsofGTR(GeneralTheoryofRelativity).HoweverIsrael3foundthatthe
    relativityequationsareadequatetodescribesuchaprocessofcompleteconversionofamassparticle
    intoradiationandhehasgivenamodelforthesame.
