1. As a teacher I will stop and listen. I will stop

instruction in order to evaluate if learning is occurring by hearing students commentary and discussion. Listening will help guide my instruction, as I will be able to understand where I need to go next. I will provide positive feedback and useful advice that will aid and improve students ability to learn. I also understand that error correction does not help improve students learning outcome but rather hinders the student.

When teachers decide to change their classrooms in order to benefit the diverse needs of students, we are no longer waiting for that support to come from outside the classroom but we are actively seeking to better the educational system. 5. As a teacher I will motivate my students. I will guarantee

high expectations for every student in my classroom, and motivate him or her to exceed their own expectations. It is my job as a teacher to exceed those expectations that students have of them-selves. As their leader, I will ensure my responsibility: LEADERS MAKE OTHER LEADERS. needs to be met, I will guarantee the opportunity by implementing various strategies. I will remember that every child has a different past and learning style that may not be compatible to a traditional classroom, this is why teaching diverse strategies can help a child obtain success. guarantee students an opportunity to use different modalities as a way of learning.
