Course Objectives

At the end of the course, students should be able to: 1. To demonstrate an overall understanding of management principles, practices, concepts and theories. 2. To demonstrate an understanding of Islamic perspective to management. 3. To identify and explain contemporary issues in management. 4. To work as part of a team to analyze and present management cases.

Course Synopsis

This management course introduces students to the management fundamentals and functions of planning, organising, leading and controlling. Students are exposed to the overall concepts of management behavior in order to prepare them to best meet the challenges of managing the organisations and coping with forces of the external environment.
