Canon Zooms and Telephotos are a lot better IMHO 10:03 PM woolrist Anyone experience with the Sigma 17-50mm f2.8 EX DC OS HSM, sounds good on paper for the price. 10:19 PM isaacco no, though I now someone who swears by their copy of it s non-OS predecessor on a Canon mount. 10:22 PM fremonj I''ve got a sigma 10mm fisheye and the reviews say it''s better than the Ni on equivalent 10:27 PM georgesi I must admit I''ve always stuc to Canon lens bu t the new Sigma 8-16mm loo s ind of interesting 10:27 PM fremonj i had a 15mm Sigma FE bac in my Canon days and had no c omplaints ========== http://www.fatwallet.com/forums/hot-deals/1138428/ --------------http://www.teamten.com/lawrence/projects/video-camera-on-model-roc et/ http://www.the-digital-picture.com/Canon-Lenses/Field-of-View-Crop-Factor.aspx vignette hipstamatic autostitch tiny planet wedding 24-70 f2.8 70-200 f4/f2.8 50 f1.4 50mm are good for low light, but depth of field restricts you to single subject shots. You really need a flash for weddings inside. As a second photographer, I'd stic to candids with a longer lens. The wedding pics you can see in the earlier lin is a good example of what I was trying to describe to Viva. f2.8 and 800 ISO and no flash. dof is o ay but with D300 you start to see grain at 800 which you don't with the D700 and D3. But one is as sl

Were these all hand held ?.. --> Than s Rohan. I had the camera sit ting on a tripod for the Vettel and Button shots. However, the ballhead was loosened to al low me to use it as a Wimberley head so that i could move the camera around when I ta e shots and tighten the head so that I dont have to lug it around when I'm not sho oting. It wor ed better than the occasions when I used my tripod as a monopod wi th only one leg extended (for the Webber shot). Madhava, please ta e a loo at this example image http://betterphotography.in/wp -content/uploads/2011/02/Lead-Highres.jpg
