Yvonne Simons will be looking after the rosters, reminders and various other tasks (distributing mail etc) until April next year. Please see Yvonne with any queries or contact her via the new PBC Admin email: pbc.admin@bbr.com.au

You will see a standard size, green direction sign at Winnap pointing to a left turn for Nelson. You will also see the Paestan Canoe Hire sign. Turn left, look for the Drik Drik cemetery on the right after about 6 kilometres or so. Peter and Punays home is a kilometre further on from the cemetery on the right hand side.

Thank you to everyone for your faithful support and donations. Items most needed include: tea; coffee; sugar; canned vegetables; soup; pasta; tissues; shampoo; conditioner; toiletries; jam; biscuits. Celebrating Christmas with the Portland Citizens Brass Band

Friday 21st December - 7:30pm at Portland Baptist Church
Come and enjoy a traditional Christmas programme with music provided by the Portland Citizens Brass Band and Aquarelle singers, followed by supper downstairs. Invite friends and neighbours to come and enjoy a time of carol singing and music in a comfortable environment. As we hope to have plenty of outsiders along it would be very much appreciated if PBC regulars could bring a plate of supper to share afterwards. (There are about 25 band members). This is not intended as competition for the town carols, but another option for those who arent able to get to that event - and an extra opportunity for everyone to soak up the sounds of Christmas!

Church Rosters
The rosters for January March 2013 will soon be prepared. For any specific requests please notify Yvonne asap. If you would like to join the team of those assisting with the roster of church activities please speak with Yvonne soon. New offers of assistance are most welcome. Please see Yvonne or email pbc.admin@bbr.com.au
