Chi Omegas official site gave me information on the purposes and principles of the prestigious sorority. The articles include information on members community and campus involvement so they can become well-rounded women. Over 300,000 initiates represent the founding purposes of friendship, integrity, service, academic excellence, involvement, and development, in which mold the prominent women that give Chi Omega such a high reputation. The Delta Kappa chapter of Chi Omega was established at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 1982. Since then, Chi Omega at UNCC has made a huge impact on the campus and the country. Delta Kappa granted two wishes for the Make-A-Wish foundation, while most chapters couldnt grant one. Also, Delta Kappa chapter has two of the ten initiated Make-A-Wish women in Chi Omega! April 17th, 1982 Over 150 current members 8 executive members Make-A-Wish foundation, granted 2 wishes in one year
