Defective Tools / Equipment

Ensure the equipment / tool to be used for painting (such as Spray Paint Gun, Hoses, pump etc.) are free from defect. The equipment and tools are adequately bonded to prevent accumulation of electrostatic charges. Maintenance shall be done regularly. Required PPE shall be used. Work shall be done by certified personnel Obtain MSDS for the paint as well as thinner. Wear the required PPE (Long Sleeve Coverall, Apron, Face Shield & suitable respiratory protection etc.). Ensure proper ventilation of the area. Store paint & thinners in safe & designated location away from source of ignition. Do not leave unattended the Spray Paint Gun & Hose with on condition. Ensure there is no naked flame or spark generating equipment in the area where spray painting is to be done. Never smoke in the area where spray painting is in progress. Keep the suitable fire extinguishers ready
