We welcome the following:
Jimmy, Amanda, Andrew and Hayley Wright new parsonage family at Manchester First. We congratulate Pastor Jim and Teresa Hodge on their retirement. From the sound of things, they are busier than ever. Adam, Teri and Samantha Risher are the new Pastors at Monterey. Pastor Micah Sturm is now pastoring at Chattanooga Grace. Rev. Charles and Jo Guinn are the new Pastor and wife at Mount Vernon. Pastor James and Bethany Ericson are now living in Texas, where Bethany is working on a Graduate degree. Michael, Tonya, Braden and Braylee Mayfield are now serving at Emmanuel. Rev. J.D. and Esther Bailey are serving as interim pastor at Newport following the move of Pastor Robbie Cain to Chapmans Chapel. Rev. Paul and Becky Myers are interim pastors at First Smoky Mountain. Rev. Ron and Sharon Pelton are serving as interim Pastors at Covenant Fellowship. Pastor Don Schultheis has resigned to take a pastorate in Texas. Pleasant Green is currently in the Pastoral search process. Remember these churches and precious families during these days of transition.

Thank you so much for the many acts of Love and gratitude you shower on us throughout the year! There is not a day that goes by that we do not thankfully bring you before our Heavenly Father. The joy of sharing ministry with you is one of our greatest blessings. Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year! Know that you are loved, Bro. Ron and Karla

Jesus, name above all names! May you know the blessing of our Lords presence during this Christmas Season.

Thank you to every NMI president who responded to my call for help in submitting your opinions regarding Living Mission. Thanks, especially, for investing your prayers. Did you know that you can download printable lessons which ARE NOT dependent on technical equipment ( traditional style lessons). Go to the Living Mission website: www.livingmisison.com , click on Store and unlock using the directions. If you need help, do not hesitate to call Teresa Hodge: 931-728-4674 and I will be glad to work with you. Four bonus lessons are also supposed to be available at : www.livingmission.com/nphweb/html/lm/storeListing.jsp. Again, If you need help accessing any of these materials, please call Teresa.

Serving with you in missions is one of the most cherished gifts of my life. Blessings, Teresa Hodge

East TN District, On June 16-21, 2013 we will have an opportunity to travel to Indianapolis, Indiana as we partner with One Heart-Many Hands to help communities and change lives. One Heart-Many Hands is anticipating at least 3,000 volunteers who will make their way to Indy to be a part of this incredible community service project. Currently plans are being made to work on at least 140 different projects. OHMH is actively working with local government agencies and other non-profit organizations to establish meaningful projects. Our team will have the opportunity to be a part of a project that will not only transform our lives but change a community as well. Over the course of five days, our team will repair homes in low-income neighborhoods, clean parks, paint community and senior centers and much more. The important thing to remember is this: we are not just going to leave the Indyarea better than we found it; we are going to leave the people of the community with a witness to goodness and kindness on a scale larger than they have ever seen. They will come to better understand the true meaning of selfless compassion. What we do now will not only have a positive impact today, but will plant seeds of change that will continue growing for generations. We will work most of the week on various projects throughout the city. We will have a free day in which we will visit the Indianapolis Zoo. This zoo is one of the nations top 10, according to Trip Advisor and includes over 350 different animal species on its 70 acres. We will also have an opportunity to take part in the General Assembly Sunday Communion Service at the Indiana Convention Center before heading home. The cost of this trip will be $600.00 which includes registration fee, materials for projects, housing, food, and free day activity. A $185.00 non-refundable registration fee must be post marked by January 7, 2013. Once the team is established, I will send out a payment plan. Make checks payable to: East TN NYI. Mail check and forms (pp. 5-8) to 1325 Thomas Rd. Monteagle, TN 37356. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me.
