Monday, January 03, 2000, 9:47 AM A lot of the time there is deep uncertainty around whatever is the center

of awareness. An example is when I contemplate the explanation for the strangeness that leads to this present material crisis situation. There is another way of looking at the same matter that has no uncertainty whatever. That certain way is to contemplate the evolutionary process of development of the rational explanation to the strangeness. Its difficult to accept in a way but there was a time when strangeness was almost unknown. I think it was in the house on Marathon in October 1979 that the first experience of intense strangeness occurred. Id just returned from Australia with Gail and the baby girls. Mary had just told me that while she was in Boston shed had an abortion, I recall experience an immediate recognition that I was experiencing manipulation of my awareness. I recall seeing Mary in a strange new way as an agent of manipulation. I didnt fully understand at all why anyone would want to subject me to this sort of manipulation and the actual act of manipulation seemed quite amateurish since I saw straight through it. Yet there was a sort of fear of the unknown elements. I immediately sensed that there was some one else involved in this game of manipulation. I sensed somehow that the act of manipulation had something to do with Marys association with the sixties counter culture. I recall how an explanation emerged in response to Marys strange new hostile conduct when we lived together on Rudasill. At first I thought she was involved in some sort of family plot to steal from me. Then I saw it as a hostile plot involving sixties counter cultural strategies to steal from me. The Blagden communist approach shifted all that and changed it into a strategy of intelligence organizations. I fetl as if I were at the cfenter of a struggle for my loyalties to communism of democracy. I hadnt beeen aware of it until now. but right at this moment I see signs of conscious manipulation of exactly that explanation -

especially in the Blagden approach and then the Blagden involvement in the removal of Hunter in late 1983. I do recall that in 1984 the explanation for the strangeness went through a transformation that persists to this day. Rather than hostile it was transformed into beneficent. Rather than aiming at theft, politics and culture I saw it as intended for spiritual growth and liberation. I saw the manipulators as compassionate but ruthless aids in the process of awakening of consciousness theyd given me the best there is to give. That view persists. The early shape of it changed a lot in the five years from 1979 to 1983. Its now nearly sixteen years since it took on the transformed shape and configuration. Yet even though its character seems to have stabilized in some of those characteistics it has continued to develop. In 1990 with my going to Wyoming it began to become more apparent that the originators of the strangeness and the manipulations of awareness were and are very powerful and not just a small group with limited influence. Since that time in 1990, the view of the power of the manipulators has expanded with the TMC incident, the FMC incidents and the phone calls and Baca incidents and the Salida Wilburn Micky confluence and the decline into impoversihment of 1999-2000. Also since 1994 it has undergone a few morphic switches with the violence and physical force that was experienced. Those incidents seriously changed the view of the manipulators from beneficent to malevolent again. From spirutlaly motivated to politically and materially motivated just as it had occurred back in the beginning. It was the use of physical force that brought the basic nature of the entity into question and changed it even if only for a short time. During the nineties also there was a growing awareness of the rise of the old counter culture as a Green movement. This awareness gave a new depth to the entity such that its moives came into focus better.

Then just the other day its nature as a strategy of rulers came into play again and was clearly seen. Theres been a few glimpses of that efore but never did it persist longer than a few hours. This time it seems to have become mor permanent. 10:10 AM 11:37 AM Another dimension of the mystical consciousness is one of broadening and even total dissolution of the boundaries that enclose what is perceived to be possible. Our own direct experiences and what we are taught comprise a set of limited possibilities. Beneath this limited set of possibilities is the unspoken belief that the future can onloy reflect the past. Symmetrical temporality. Perhaps its all a matter of statistics and probability. We consider improbable that which is rare or non-existent in our past experiences and in what we are taught is possible. When we encounter an experience which is outside the boundaries of this limited set of possibilities it is strange and a contradiction or paradox. Lately I notice that there do occur experiences where the boundaries are dissoloved and the strange becomes very real and possible. An example is the Republic of Plato blueprint as a new dimension of explanation for the strange events Ive witnessed since late 1979. Twenty years ago. I do recall how back in those times when I really liked to get high smoking the cannabis that rationality would dissolve and it was like seeing through a fog bank or clouds and seeing clearly. Like an end to a sort of blindness. 11:45 AM 3:35 PM Just now while sitting on on the camping folding chair from Walmart in Rock Springs there arose a realization of the possible great signficance of another realization in which there arose awareness of the very fundamental assumption that:

principles and laws that order the world of experience are reflected in other worlds such as the future which have not been experienced. It is the most basic of the assumptions that underlie science as a world view and practice. It is the most basic of symmetry principles. Yet with the development of quantum theory in physical science about a hundred years ago it became clear that this principle is approximate and not absolute. The laws of physics that had been developed by Newton to mathematically represent the observations of the planets and other objects in everyday reality were found not to apply in a realm that Newton had not investigated - and that world is the world of the atom. The scientists who worked to observe the world of the atom and to discover mathematical principles for it, discovered that there was not a symmetrical relationship between the macrocosmic world of planets and the microcosmic world of the atom. At first, physicists of the late nineteenth and early twentieth century contemplated practical observations from their laboratories and attempted to apply the classical Newtonian mchanical laws of motion to those observations of the behavior of the atom. They were dismayed to find that their observations could not be explained with those classical laws that had held good in every other realm since Newtons insightful theoretical explanation. In time mathematical laws were developed to explain the observations of the behavious of the atom but they were fundamentally different from the Newtonian mathematical laws.

Finally however, the physicists were able to come up with an explanation of the whole in which the Newtonian Laws were seen as an approximation of the quantum laws. This revolution in science demonstrates that it is an illusion to expect that ordering principles from the world of our everyday experience will be reflected in worlds that are not of everyday experience. In the case of atomic physics, the world of the atom was a world that had not been experienced and so was novel when instruments were finally invented that could make observations inside the world of the very small. Yet the principle applies not just to the world of the atom but to any realm of experience that is novel. 3:51 PM (Like any experience that is in the future. 01/05/00 12:35 AM) 3:55 PM it is of great significance to global human culture in general. Quantum physics delivers a severe shock to our faith in knowledge in general. Since that time it is as if the advancement of knowledge has come to a standstill. It is as if we can no longer be certain of anything. The overall result has been a culture of questioning, a culture of doubt in all knowledge. Despite the cultural fallout of doubt and uncertainty that inevitably follows from quantum theory, science has continued and the century since the development of quantum theory has been a century of unprecedented technological advancement. Whatever the doubts and uncertainties theyve not distracted human economic activity from exploiting the knowledge developed in science, engineering and business. The culture of doubt and uncertainty has not afflicted science, technology and business so much as it has afflicted culture, religion and politics. The knowledge we once thought we had of culture, religion and politics has been cast into doubt and

uncertainty as the most basic of cultural religious and political assumtions are questioned in the same spirit made inevitable by the demonstration in quantum theory of the unreliability of established knowledge and assumptions in general. That is the greater legacy of quantum theory. In science, technolgy and business, quantum theory has lead to nuclear weaponry, the cold war and the fall of communism as well as the development of semi conductors and micro-electronics, computers, telecommunications, artifical intelligence and the internet. In religion, culture and politics, the legacy of quantum theory has been the demise of certainty in established institutions. While the new structures that result from quantum theory in technology and business have already manifested as nuclear weapons and computers, there has been little manifestation of the new structures that will inevitably be built with the knowledge that flows out of the resolutions of the questioning of the old principles of social organization and of religious and cultural beliefs. We are left at the moment in a religious and cultural void. The political void is almost as critical yet the need for practical solutions demands that some political certainty needs to be adopted even if the underlying faith in the principles on which the political structures are organized is in some doubt. 4:10 PM 5:02 PM Much gratitude is felt for this experience of a withering away and a dissolving of feelings of being wrong and doing wrong. Those feelings were so prominent years ago. They are still around but lately they are withering away. its also one of dimensions of the multi-dimensional evoys. 5:05 PM
