HOUSE RULES
These Rules are not intended to make your lives miserable. These should be appreciated as hot tips in order that we can all make the semester as productive, enjoyable, informative and fun as possible (Fun is such a popular word these days.) CLASSROOM SESSIONS Everyone is expected to attend and actively participate. The topics to be taken up during these sessions shall be made known via Twitter with hash tag #sbclegalethics. Please prepare for the sessions by reading the assigned materials. ASSIGNMENTS Assignments are to be submitted within the deadlines, generally NLT 12 midnight of the day set as deadline. These assignments shall consist of no more than 800 words, set on a 8.5 x 11 sized document, using Times New Roman font, 12 points, double-spaced, with one inch margin all around. The le shall be named [YOUR LAST NAME]_ASSIGNMENT NOx.pdf, where x is the Roman numeral designation of the assignment. It shall be in Portable Document File (PDF) format and submitted online as an attachment to an email addressed to askjun@rodriguez.ph. At the SUBJECT portion of your email, please put #SBCLEGALETHICS [YOUR LAST NAME]_ASSIGNMENT NOx, where x is the Roman numeral designation of the assignment. CASE DIGESTS The value of reading case decisions in their original form cannot be overemphasized. To cultivate, if not to instill, this habit, students may have to be forced to read by requiring them to make case digests in their hand-writing. Case digests are to b prepared using the following format: Case Title: Petitioners Claims: Respondents Claims: Issue/s: Ruling: Case digests shall be submitted as required. FINAL PAPER There is a requirement for a Final Paper on a topic that most interests you. The topic must involve a legal issue about Legal Ethics. I have set January 15, 2013 as the deadline for submitting to me your proposed topic.
