1. REFERENCES: a. VI of the C,PNP b. Memo from THRDD dated June 15,2012 with subject: Weight Loss Management Program and c. Training Directive Number 2012-06 issued by office of the Chief Directorial Staff. 2. RATIONALE: The purpose of this is to carry out the guidelines MABUHAY KA PULIS program of the C,PNP that will address the problem of obese personnel nationwide. This is in adherence to the principle that Sound Body Breeds Sound Mind and the weak be transformed to be strong. 3. MISSION: This CPPO will conduct, in conformity with the directive of the National Headquarters, the Weight Loss Management Program to sustain the well-being of all its personnel to cope with the rigors of police work. 4. EXECUTION: a. Concept of Operation: The Program will be conducted in CPPO to all uniformed and non uniformed personnel every athletic days (Tuesday and Thursday) at 4:00 to 5:00pm PM during the conduct of Hataw. 1. Fifteen (15) minutes Calisthenics; 2. Organizations of Athletics Clubs; and 3. Conduct of Fun WALK, FUN RUN, OR FUN BIKE. That those obese personnel identified by RHS7 will be relieved from their present assignment and undergo a one (1) month training for Fitness/Wellness program to be shouldered by this office.

b. Tasks:

1) C/Admin a) Issue orders to obese personnel to undergo said program. b) Issue orders for conduct of Regular Hataw DURING Tuesday and Thursday. c) Ensure availability of person to facilitate the Hataw and coordinate with C/Finance for professional fee. d) Perform other tasks as directed. 2) C/Finance a) Provide for the professional fee for the civilian personnel to conduct the Hataw and one (1) month Fitness Wellness Program b) Perform other tasks as directed. 3) C/PPSC a) Ensure that all vehicles parked at CPPO grounds shall vacate the area thirty (30) minutes before the start of the athletic activities; b) Prepare the CPPO grounds for the activity. c) Perform other task as directed. 4) C/PTOC a) Directed to set-up the sound system to the used in the Hataw and other athletics activities for this program. b) Perform other task as directed. 5) C/Supply a) Provide the logistical requirements of this program as needed. b) Perform other task on orders. 6) All Chief of Police a) Directed to conduct the same program to their respective stations; b) Submit actions taken/ appropriate report to this headquarters for consolidation prior to submission to RHQ; c) Directed to coordinate to local Hospital and Health office of your Cities and Municipalities to identify obese personnel and submit names to this office NLT 19 July 2012. d) Perform other task as directed. 5) COORDINATING INSTRUCTIONS: a) All COPS are directed to submit names of their respective recommendees for the program. b) Coordinate with RHS7 for the initial list of identified obese personnel. c) All section Chiefs are directed to check the attendance of their respective personnel during the Athletics/Hataw activities. d) All available personnel are required to attend the Hataw from 4:00pm to 5:00 pm every Tuesday and Thursday. e) Lateral coordination is advised.
