Dear Friends and Supporters, As you may know, for the past several years, I have been actively involved in supporting a local non-profit organization called Asian American Success (AASuccess), that seeks to help deserving high-school and college students to develop life skills not taught in the traditional classroom. Through coaching from career professionals, our students are empowered to take leadership roles in the community and give back to their communities. AASuccess executes programs that assist students in an underserved community of the Washington metropolitan area. After five years of growth and experience, we have developed a solid record of providing our students and graduates with social and professional networking, job opportunities and leadership experiences, along with critical resources to guide them towards achieving their life goals. Linda Zheng joined us in 2010 as a student studying abroad at George Mason University. She currently works at Keelpoint, a reputable wealth management firm, as a financial analyst. Linda is only one of the many success stories from AASuccess. To continue to help our youth meet their goals, I invite you to join me in supporting AASuccess by becoming a Sustaining Member at one of the following levels: (i) Bronze $500 per year, (ii) Silver $1,000 per year, (iii) Gold $2,000 per year, or (iv) Platinum $3,000 per year. On Thursday, December 13, 2012, from 6:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M., AASuccess will be hosting a fundraiser at Caf Asia, 1550 Wilson Boulevard, Arlington, VA, where current and potential future Sustaining Members will be able to learn more about the mission and accomplishments of AASuccess, meet the members of the Board of Directors, as well as past and current student members who have benefited from being a part of our organization. The purpose of this event is to introduce the AASuccess Sustaining Member Program to potential donors; highlight the value of being a Sustaining Member; and, more importantly, to obtain funding for programming that addresses the immediate needs and long-term goals of our deserving students. I ask of you two things: (1) consider becoming a Sustaining Member at the level appropriate to your means, and (2) invite at least one guest who could commit to supporting AASuccess by becoming a Sustaining Member as well. I look forward to seeing you at Caf Asia on December 13. In the meantime, if you wish to learn more about AASuccess, feel free to visit our website at www.AASuccess.org or contact me directly. With sincere appreciation,
We appreciate your generosity & support and thank you on behalf of the students & graduates of AASuccess. Perfecting the Act of Giving Back.
