Yap Siow Ling (Ms) is the Principal Consultant and qualified Trainer (reference:
TTT/0225) and the Managing Director of Prinsip Mahir Sdn Bhd

She graduated from University of Strathclyde (UK) in 1996 with Master of

Business Administration. She had her Bachelor of Science degree from Monash
University (Australia) in 1991.

Ms Yap started her career as a Chemist / Microbiologist at an analytical

laboratory and moved on to a US multinational where she was an Engineer for
a few years.

She has been with Sirim QAS Sdn Bhd for the past 15 years as a Lead Auditor at the ISO Certification
Unit. She is also a registered HACCP auditor for the Malaysian Ministry of Health as well as a member of
International Registered Certified Lead Auditor (IRCA), Malaysia Registered Certified Senior Auditor
(MRCA), Medical Device Association and Institute of Quality Malaysia (IQM).

She is the Technical Committee for MOH Medical Devices on Quality Management and Corresponding
general aspects for medical devices (Technical Committee 1), Disposable Devices (Technical Committee
2) and Clinical Laboratory Testing & In Vitro Diagnostic Test Systems (Technical Committee 7).

She is the certified Lead Auditor for ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 13485, ISO 22000, OSH 18001, GMP and
HACCP who has successfully implemented and certified Multinational companies as well as Small &
Medium Size Industries throughout Malaysia.

Ms Yap is an accomplished “5S” and Quality Improvement Trainer to help companies to achieve a
better and higher standard of performance. Among the companies she has conducted consultancy,
