com Suzanne Kite is a violinist, composer, arranger, teacher, and producer from Southern California who combines breakbeats and ephemeral soundscapes. Suzannes work ranges from arrangements for big bands, to compositions for film, to hip-hop productions. She has performed on various albums for hip-hop producers, rock bands, and folk groups. Growing up in the rave scene of Los Angeles, she is passionate about a wide range of electronic dance music genres, especially drum and bass music, and realizing them for live ensembles. Drawing inspiration from many areas, Suzanne is heavily influenced by works of poetry, short stories, philosophers, and metaphysics. Recently, Suzanne has been collaborating with the electronic producer, Little Planet, arranging drum and bass for small ensembles, and performing with the band Ruby- Throated in the Los Angeles area.
