1.8 Project Achievements

The annual net income per capita of project households has increased by 2 542 yuan on average, up 86.43 %, 1 928 yuan higher than the absolute value of annual net income per capita with Non-project-households In particular, the project has seen significant increase of income from household pig-raising and forest/fruits. The project households now spend less time doing family chore, with 80 % of women expressing that their family chore load has fallen sharply. The data of survey indicate that time spent on cooking & making boiling water has been cut by 40 % as compared with before the project implementation.
