Rediscovering Nefertiti

Nefertiti (ca. 1370 BC ca. 1330 BC) was the Great Royal Wife (chief consort) of the Egyptian Pharaoh Akhenaten. Nefertiti and her husband were known for a religious revolution, in which they worshiped one god only, Aten, or the sun disc. The Nefertiti Bust is a 3,300-year-old painted limestone bust of Nefertiti, Owing to the work, Nefertiti has become one of the most famous women of the ancient world, and an icon of feminine beauty. The work is believed to have been crafted in 1345 BC by the sculptor Thutmose. A German archaeological team led by Ludwig Borchardt discovered the Nefertiti bust on Dec 6,1912 in Thutmose's workshop in Amarna, Egypt. A German museum [3] is currently celebrating the 100th anniversary of the discovery.

Shown here is the chart for the lunar eclipse of Sep 26, 1912 at Amarna. Notice a few points about the eclipse: Venus at 25li14 is prominently placed on the MC conjunct the bright star Spica. In India this is the determinant star of the Chitra, ruled by Tvastr, the heavenly carpenter, who possessed maya, the power of making and shaping the way others see the world that is a form of magic, a bright jewel. Citra can translate as many colored referring to a work of art [1]. Venus is opposite Kronos would be a famous beauty or a famous work of art of ethereal (Neptune) beauty. The eclipse Moon is conjunct Admetus-Hades. Hades refers to something that is very ancient and Admetus is a TNP that literally refers to stone. Admetus-Hades form a trine to Neptune in the Grand Cross involving Venus (their midpoint at 24pi21 is a sharp quincunx to Venus 25li14).

The eclipse chart progressed to Dec 6, 1912, the date of the discovery, shows very appropriately Uranus-Neptune on the meridian axis along with their associated Grand Cross and trine planets. So the pieces of the puzzle seem to be falling together . While we can certainly see the eclipse referring to the possibility of discovery of a beautiful and ancient work of art, we can also begin to see a queen here.Uranus is conjunct the star Altair that has been associated with kings and emperorsalong with Venus that might refer to a kings consort. In addition to this Uranus-Neptune can refer people who want to bring about social or revolutionary [ Uranus] changes based on idealism [Neptune]. Uranus is trine the TNP Poseidon so that some of that idealism is about religion or belief- systems. This could refer to the revolution of the Pharaoh and sun guru Akhenaton, who devised a light theology with his wife Nefertiti and, in 1350 B.C., declared the solar disk "Aton" to be the only god [2].
