Rice Snacks Mixed Curries Rice Podina Rice Ingredients Rice-500g Coriander- 2 cups Mint- 1 cup Potatoes - Medium

three Green chilly - Three-Four Oil,Salt,Red chilly powder This can be served in parties with any curry specially bitter gourd fry or simply with onion raitha.It is very tasty.This was given by my Aunt. Peel and cut potatoes into cubes and half boil them. Deep fry them , add salt and Red Chilly powder ,keep aside. Grind coriander , Mint and green chills to a paste(add little water if needed).Cook rice. Fry the mint till raw smell disappears in oil. Add this to rice ,add salt for whole rice. Then add potatoes and fried cashews if you like. Coconut Rice Ingrdients Cooked rice-2cups Grated coconut-3/4 cup Redchilli-5-6 Urad dal-1spoon Chana dal-3/4 spoon Mustard- spoon This an be done on pooja days or otherwise can be also taken along with onion raitha. In oil add oil ,Tadka of urad dal,channa dal and mustard along with red chilly.Add grated coconut ,fry for 3-4 minutes and add cooked rice and salt.Mix well and remove from fire. Snacks Golden Fingers Ingrdients Baby Corn-7-8

Maida-4 spoons Cornflour -3 spoons Salt,oil,water This is a very good starter, can be had with tomato and mint chutneys. Cut Baby corn in the shape of a little fine length wise and pressure cook up to two whistles. Mix, maida, cornflour, salt and water. Dip corn and fry on sim till golden brown. Tomato chutney This tastes very nice with golden fingers. Take two medium tomatoes,grind with salt,two green chilles three garlic cloves .Then add tomato sauce or tamato ketup(2 spoons) and grind. Mint chutney Take two spoons coriander,one spoon of mint ,one small grenn chilly ,salt and grind with litlle curd. This also goes well with golden fingers.

Sago Bonda Ingrdients Sago powder-1cup Maida-3/4 cup Cooking Soda-A pinch Sour curd :1/2 cup Salt,water Dry sago and make powder of it in Mixer ginder. Add to maida ,salt,curd ad soda.Soak for 3 hrs. Fry as small size balls. Can be taken with coconut chutney. This is very easy but tasty tea time snack.This was my own sanck. Mixed Curries Cabbage-Palak Ingredients Cabbage-2cups Palak-2cups Urad dal-1 spoon Mustard-1 spoon

Red chilly- 5 Salt,oil This is a very good and tasty regular and party dish.Palak goes very well with cabbage and will have increased taste. In oil add tadka of urad dal,Mustard red chilles.Add cabbage ,salt and cover.After 7-8 minutes add Palak and cook till done. Can be taken with rice.This was given by my Mother. Brinjal-Methi leaves Ingredients Brinjal-500g Methi leaves A very small bunch. Green Chillis-3-4 Salt,oil This is also a very tasty regular and party dish.Methis goes very well brinjal.Brinjal,the king of all vegetables which needs lot of masala goes here with very simple and few ingredients.This was given by Mother-in -law In oil add green chillies, Brinjal pieces cut length wise, salt and cover. When the curry is almost done add methi leaves and remove from fire within a minute or two.Can be taken with rice.
