Albert Einstein

Albert Einstein was born in Ulm, Germany on March 14, 1879. He had pale skin and black hair. According to his parents he did not talk until he was four years old. He was always quiet as a child as if he was constantly deep in thought. Little Albert Einstein was fascinated with the way things worked, When he was about four or five years old his father gave him a compass, he would spend hours turning the compass every which way. He would stare with wander because the needle always pointed north. Albert Einstein left school at age 15. Shortly after that in 1899 Albert Einstein moves and becomes a Swiss citizen. In 1900 he attended the two year undergraduate collage Aargau Cantonal School in Aarau. Albert Einstein would often cut class, making his professors not see him as the genius he was. Nobody would hire Albert Einstein when he finished college. He eventually got a job at a Patent Office. That same year his girlfriend Mileva gave birth to a girl, but because they were not married at the time they gave her up for adoption. A year later Albert Einstein married Mileva, and a year after that in 1904 Albert Einstein first son was born. A short year after that was Albert Einsteins miracle year. He wrote four papers in that year: one on light, one on atoms, his most famous paper E = mc2 , and then his paper about relativity. Four years later he became a professor at the University of Zurich. He sends these papers to many know scientist at the time but did not hear anything back for a while, finally Max Plaunk receives his paper on relativity and begins to see that there is something special to Albert Einstein. Five or so years later Albert Einstein leaves his wife and two kids and moves back to Germany. He and his wife get a divorce and he promises her all the money he will receive once and if he wins a Nobel Prize. This same year he begins attempting to prove his theory of bending light. Albert Einstein marries his cousin Elsa. He continues to try to prove his theory of light bending. To prove it he must take pictures of the sun during a solar eclipse. His first attempt to do so he had to groups set out to Russia. At the same time World War One started. A German man was leading one of the expeditions and was taken prisoner for they thought he was a spy. The second group could not get pictures of the eclipse because it was too cloudy. After that they left Russia to return home but they were required to leave their equipment there. The same man who attempted to photograph the last solar eclipse was from America and it just so happened there they was going to be another solar eclipse near where he lived. His equipment had been left I Russia so they had to make do with what they had. This expedition disproved Albert Einsteins theory about bending light. But Albert Einstein wanted to test it again. He sent another astronomer to Africa. After the long journey there when the time of the eclipse came the clouds covered it but at the last minutes the clouds parted and he got a few good shots. In the shots he took Albert Einsteins theory was correct. This made a controversy so it was decided that one more eclipse must be photographed. The next eclipse took place in Australia in four years. Albert Einstein

could do nothing but wait. He played his violin often during this time to help him think. Finally the time of the eclipse came and Albert Einsteins theory was proven. Soon after Albert Einstein visits the United States and well he is there he wins a Nobel Prize and gives the money to his ex-wife Mileva. She uses the money to buy some apartment buildings. Shortly after that the Second World War starts. Hitler puts out a death warrant because he thinks Albert Einstein is a spy. This makes it so that Albert Einstein must stay in America. Albert Einstein and his wife Elsa move to Princeton, New Jersey in 1933. Three years later Albert Einsteins wife Elsa dies. Four years later Albert Einstein becomes a United States citizen. Slowly the people he knew die off. His ex-wife Mileva dies. As well as his sister Maja dies. In 1955 Albert Einstein leaves this world. His life was an amazing piece of history that this world will forever be thankful for.
