FRONT COVER
1) What images would you like? Mainly a single image Close up/medium-close up If its a single person, have it either close up, or them posing with an instrument/prop If its a group, have them gather around, and as a medium shot Perhaps some very small images, to accompany some of the cover lines 2) What would you like to see? (e.g. cover lines) The magazine should put their own spin on the cover lines Have them give a small opinion Use puns or humour Have them laid out interestingly Make the main coverline stand out, and look interesting 3) What colours would be appropriate? A mixture of dark colours and bright colours Considering a majority of magazine go for either the dark colours, or dark with a little bit of bright design, perhaps going for all out bright colours would be unique. Perhaps even make it simplistic, considering its not just aimed at teenagers, but also young adults. A bit of formality. 4) What type of language would you expect? Informal language Language associated with the genre Not stupid language though. More intellectual.
