A Capital Area PICNIC Sunday September 10 Starting at 11:30AM - going all day Fund raising picnic for the property, at the property On the beautiful grounds of the Capital Area Bah Center Property located a few minutes south of the D.C. Beltway at 11111 Riverview Road in Fort Washington, Maryland. Leave the cooking to us, the committee will grill the hot dogs and hamburgers. Drinks, desserts and popcorn sold separately. Children under 3 free, for all others the cost is $5.00. - Interest payments $ 17,700 - Utilities 2,000 - Taxes 14,000 - Insurance 1,000 - Pay off $850,000 in loans over 10 years 85,000 - Improvements (parking, shelter, restrooms)____________60,000 Total of $ 180,000 / year or $15,000 / month

Considering a unit to be one dollar a day ($365 a year) then 500 Bahs and institutions contributing one unit each year will achieve the goal of developing the property and paying off the personal loans that finalized settlement on the purchase of the property. Many individuals and institutions have pledged to contribute two or more units. Please use the pledge form on the back of this letter and share it with others. The "First" Marathon - Run/Walk one mile on the beautiful trails of the Bah property. On October 22nd from 11:30AM until. Communities and individuals are invited to sponsor one or more "Runners or Walkers" and pledge $25.00 for each completed one mile "run or walk." Refreshments will be provided.
