I find no record of Jean-Baptiste nor Baptiste Tourond participating in the 1885 Resistance; Jean-
Baptiste was part of Riel's Red River Council in 1870, and, David Tourond was not tried having
escaped to Montana. Note: Patrice Tourond was a bodyguard of Riel in the last days after the Fall of
Batoché...
