Corrido: In Ms. Preciados class we had to write a corrido.

My was it challenging, my partner and I had to go through trial and error to get it perfect. It showed myself and my partner that we could problem solve by trying over and over. We had to find the correct lyrics that would include all that was needed. Hence, the lyrics had to match with the song we wanted, it was a struggle to be able to make the lyrics flow with the song. However, my partner and I were able to achieve finishing our song by using our mastery in problem solving. Lab Report: In Mr. Larkins class we were assigned to write a lab report on the amount of particles needed to write someones name. We were instructed to fill in the data, as well as include our calculations. Including my calculations was a struggle because Microsoft Word doesnt allow you to use subscripts in a fraction. I had to try many ways to get the fraction in, and so it took me a long time. I was able to overcome the challenge by using my problem solving skills to find a way to get all my calculations on word and get them correct. Finally, in Ms. Liptons class we were assigned to create a prezi to show our mastery skills in the Key Cognitive Strategies presented to us. I had a hard time being able to transfer all my work into the prezi itself. Scanning was challenging because my scanner wasnt being cooperative, so I decided to screenshot my work. It took a lot of steps and time just to be able to get the picture in. Problem solving helped me greatly in this prezi because I thought I was not going to be abe to finish, but my ability to overcome these challenges helped. However, for Mr. Otto we wrote an essay about the positive and negative effects of the industrial revolution. We had to decide whether we though the pain was worth the gain or not. We had to be precise to use facts in our response and not give out false evidence. We also had

to be accurate to use the correct quotes that matched to our response. My mastery skills of using precision and accuracy got me a 7 on the rubric and final score. Also in Ms. Liptons class, we created an excel spreadsheet to calculate our accumulative GPA. The spreadsheet will help us in the future when applying to colleges. I had to be precise in the entering of grades, classed, and formulas to be able to calculate. I had to be accurate in the way that I had to choose the correct cell(s) to be able to get a result. I was able to complete my GPA spreadsheet by using my mastery skills in precision and accuracy. Finally, in Ms. Hamptons class we were instructed to write an essay about Arthurs Miller critique on the McCarthy time era. We had to be accurate to know the correct facts about a specific charter used in the book. For example, Abigail I used to her to precisely connect her and McCarthys way of responding to fear. It was a challenge but I overcame it by using my mastery skills of precision and accuracy that we use in our daily lives.
