Bathroom makeover
Your bathroom cant be a sanctuar y if it still bears the original developers bland touches. With the help of Anele from 5FM, we brought fellow 5FM DJ Grants bathroom to life without hardly raising a sweat

Paint in your choice of colour Masking tape Roller and paint trays Paint brushes Drop sheet Pollyfiller Paint scraper Sandpaper Mirror Curtain Stainless steel waste bin Stainless steel toilet brush Wall plugs and screws
tool list
When drilling a hole for the wall plug, use the correct drill bit in relation to the required size of the hole you need. You certainly dont want your mirror pulling loose in a few months, so when you want to insert a 6mm wall plug you should use a 5.5mm or a 6mm masonry bit. DIFFICULTY RATING *****
The Plan
Start by seeing what changes will make a difference to your bathroms space and what will work practicality.
The Prep
Remove any items that need relocating (such as moving the towel and toilet roll holded closer to the basin, right), and then fill the holes with Pollyfiller and allow to dry. Sand the surface smooth and repeat this if necessary for the best, smooth finish.
The Method
Mask off all areas not to be painted, take time doing this as it will effect the overall look theres nothing worse than paints speckles or splatters. Use a paint brush in the corners first, then roll over sparingly with a roller for the best coverage.
The Finish
Once the surface is dry, mark out and drill new whole for hand towel holder.
ODOUR TIP Adding a selection of fragrances to your bathroom shelves helps to dress up your bathroom
STYLE TIP Adding a mirror and pictures (either family pics or general pictures that strike your fancy) to empty wall spaces gives the room more depth and also personalises the space. A blind allows for privacy in the bathroom and makes it easier to lie back and relax in that bubble bath, safely cocooned from the rest of the world.

Dont just wrap that special present any old how make it a presentation with a difference. Why only wrap the gift? Rather place the present inside a box, which then allows you greater freedom to wrap it and pack it for that special someone. Using bright colours and different textures will ensure that the gift will be received with even greater appreciation. Rather than just wrapping the gift, use a box of a similar size and bring in other colours in different parts of the packaging. Ribbon, raffia, paper and glitter can all be use to accentuate the spirit of Christmas you can glue this together to create a unique design, or just leave them loose and, holding the ends, tie the bow which will secure your ribbon and raffia in place. Line the gift with tissue paper and then place it into the box for a personal touch. Fold ribbon around the box to hold it closed, using a double knot in the bow to keep the ribbon tight. These colours will really attract Anele eyes, and what explains gift better than a bow? What a great presentation, Grant take a bow!
