boards, working with foundations and community groups, establishing and analyzing budgets of not-forprofit groups and fundraising.

Jordan Parker, an attorney, is married to wife, Nicole, and has two sons. He has
been confirmed in the Episcopal Church for three years and has been a member of Trinity for 10 years. He currently leads the St. Matthew acolyte team. Jordan was previously a member of Christ the King Episcopal Church, Fort Worth. He is a mentor for pre-law students at the University of Texas at Arlington, his undergraduate alma mater. Jordan has served on the Vision 2013 committee for St. Paul Lutheran School and the Board for the Riverhollow Homeowners Association for many years, including two years as President. He has also served in a variety of management positions at Cantey Hanger LLP, the oldest and second largest law firm in Fort Worth, and is currently the firms General Counsel, in addition to maintaining his individual law practice. He has extensive knowledge and experience in commercial, personal injury and administrative litigation. He also has many relationships in the business, charitable and professional communities in Fort Worth. Jordan works closely with the youth and families of Trinity through the acolyte program and has ideas on how to incorporate younger church members more fully into the life of the parish. I am an organized and task-oriented person with the desire to further Trinitys mission, Jordan says.

Chuck Weidler, a retired electronics engineer, has been a member of Trinity since
1957. His wife, Barbara, also attends Trinity and they have two children and two grandchildren. He has been confirmed in the Episcopal Church for 65 years. Chuck currently serves as the usher coordinator, and has been a Stephen Minister since the programs inception at Trinity. He served on the Succession Committee, which recently called Mother Carlye as our Rector. He has served on Vestry at Trinity on three previous terms and has assisted with many ad hoc projects for the church, including the audio system upgrade. Chuck is a delegate to the Diocesan Convention and works with the Fort Worth West Deanery in coordinating Habitat for Humanity projects. Chuck has volunteered with the Presbyterian Night Shelter, served as a volunteer guardian with Guardianship Services Inc., and is active in his homeowners association. Chuck is adept in analyzing finances and organizing projects. Hes also keenly interested in growing programs directed toward the youth and young families of Trinity.

Requirements for vestry candidates: A nominee must have agreed to have his/her name placed in nomination. A nominee must be at least 18 years old and an active participant in the life of the parish. A nominee must be confirmed or received by a Bishop of the Episcopal Church. A nominee must have been a canonically resident member of Trinity for at least one year. A nominee must be a financial contributor to the parish in the preceding year as shown by the records of the Treasurer.

Gary Buff, Ed.D., is the Chief Operating Officer of ACH Child and Family Services
(formerly All Church Home for Children). He attends Trinity with wife, Sidney. They have three children and three grandchildren. He has been confirmed in the Episcopal Church for three years and a member of Trinity for three years. Gary has served on the Adult Formation Committee, Social Concerns Committee, and has been an Adult Forum Leader. He recently joined the Trinity Choir. Outside the church, Gary has served as a volunteer on a Fort Worth Diocese Habitat for Humanity project. In the community, he is a frequent presenter of professional trainings for the mental health/child welfare communities. Gary previously served on the board of the United Way. I have the ability to listen to and work well with members with differing views and differing constituents of the church, to see and articulate a vision, contribute to discussion and make joint decisions on important issues, Gary says. I have many years of church and non-profit leadership experience including vision creation, strategic planning, budgets, organizational development and consensus building.

Barbara McColm is a fundraising consultant. She has two daughters. Barbara has
been confirmed in the Episcopal Church for 47 years, and a member of Trinity for four years. She currently serves on the Altar Guild, is involved with EYC and was on the 2012 Stewardship Committee. Prior to coming to Trinity, Barbara was active in several other parishes. She was a choir member at the Church of the Transfiguration in Dallas. At All Saints in Fort Worth she served as a Sunday School teacher. While a member of Church of Heavenly Rest in Abilene, Barbara once again taught Sunday School, served on the Altar Guild and Vestry. In addition, she was a board member for St. Johns Episcopal School. At All Saints in Weatherford, she again served on the Altar Guild and Vestry. Barbara is a former member of Junior League, Fort Worth. These days, her community involvement and career overlap as she assists local organizations with fundraising. Clients include Big Brothers Big Sisters Lone Star, Amon Carter Museum of American Art, Ronald McDonald House Fort Worth, YWCA, Trinity Habitat for Humanity, Union Gospel Mission, Tarrant Area Food Bank, James L. West Center, American Red Cross, Cornerstone Assistance Network, Camp Fire USA, Hill School and Gildas Club.

Kyle Davie is the Chief Technology Officer for the Fort Worth Independent School
District. He has been confirmed in the Episcopal Church and a member of Trinity for 1 years. Kyle is currently involved in Stephen Ministry, the Communications Committee and Trinity Cooks. He also participated in the first Cursillo for our Diocese. Kyles community involvement includes the Fort Worth Police Department Multicultural Task Force committee member, board member for the Parenting Center, Leadership Fort Worth (2010 Cohort), Multicultural Western Heritage Museum board officer and Rotary Club. He has demonstrated abilities as a strategic thinker in leading organizations experiencing rapid growth and transition. Kyle is widely acknowledged for his team building, motivational and collaborative leadership style. He was recently named as one of the 20 to watch in Educational Technology by the NSBA, as well as one of the top 50 technology innovators for 2011 by Converge Magazine. I chose to join Trinity because I believe in the mission of the church, Kyle says. I want to be able to serve God and my community in whatever ways I can. I know our church will continue to grow and minister to our community and I feel my skills and talents would be a positive addition to the already strong vestry.

Jerri Beth Palmer is the Human Resources Representative at Performing Arts


Fort Worth Inc. Her daughter and son-in-law are members of Trinity. She has two granddaughters who previously attended Trinity Episcopal School. Jerri Beth has been confirmed in the Episcopal Church for 42 years, and a member of Trinity for 15 years. She has served as a member of the Newcomers Committee and Trinity Gardening Committee. Prior to joining Trinity, Jerri Beth was an active volunteer at St. Johns Episcopal Church in Memphis, Tenn., where she served on the Lenten Study Committee, helped prepare Lenten Lunches at the cathedral, co-organized the Young Womens Bible Study and taught Sunday School. At Palmer Memorial Episcopal Church in Houston, she served on the Community Outreach Committee, assisted with meal preparation for the churchs homeless program and taught Sunday School. Jerri Beths involvement in the Fort Worth community includes volunteering at The Warm Place and serving on the YWCA Board of Directors. Trinity has played an irreplaceable role in my familys and my life, and I have a strong and caring commitment to its parishioners and for its ministries, Jerri Beth says. Further, as a parent, grandparent and a former teacher, I am an education-proponent and devoted fan of Trinity Episcopal School.

Susann M. Eller is a retired teacher and former University Supervisor at Tarleton


State University. Her family includes husband, Johnie, two children and six grandchildren. Susann has been confirmed in the Episcopal Church for 37 years, and has been a member of Trinity for 11 years. She has served on Trinitys Altar Guild, Social Concerns Committee, and Succession Committee. Susann is also a Stephen Minister, Lector and Chalice Bearer. In addition, Susann has served as a board member for the South Central Alliance of Churches. Her church service prior to coming to Trinity included Altar Guild, Lector and Chalice Bearer, Flower Guild, Sunday School teacher, choir, Episcopal Womens Guild and Integrity. Susanns community involvement includes: CASA of Johnson County, Meals on WheelsJohnson County, Teen CourtParker County, Mayors Youth CouncilJohnson County and Lone Star Street Rod Association.

Evan D. Peterson is the Head of School at Fort Worth Country Day School. He has
been married 42 years to wife, Gayle, and has two sons and two granddaughters. Evan has been confirmed in the Episcopal Church for 51 years. He has been a member of Trinity for 17 years. Over the past three years, Evan has served on the Vestry, Trinity Episcopal School Board and has chaired Trinitys finance committee. His church service prior to joining Trinity includes acolyte leader/scheduler, youth leader, Sunday School teacher, picnic organizer and usher. Evan is a Gold Hammer Award recipient from Habitat for Humanity, and has worked with cancer groups at Baylor All Saints Hospitalwhich includes serving as the leader for the Head & Neck Cancer Group. He was formerly a member of Downtown Fort Worth Rotary Club. Evan has experience in running nonprofit and school
