CELEBRATED OVER 50 ENTREPRENEURS
We CELEBRATED over 50 entrepreneurs by hosting our annual Port Ouverte. Which gave others the opportunity to see what our organization is about first hand: creating sustainable jobs and promoting local goods. Our members, partners, and friends had the chance to visit our entrepreneurs and their employees at our offices while having the chance to buy some of their home grown goods!

We TRAINED over 2200 people in business skills and life skills. It was not an easy task, but we understood the VALUE in training these displaced individuals. So we partnered with WORLD VISION to equip a more informed community of active citizens geared to create and promote sustainable jobs in HAITI.

Through out the next year HPCD & the UN will ensure that these women receive additional training and be housed in our incubators where they will have access to numerous resources which will help them grow their small businesses.
AUGUST 2012
As you can see, August was a busy month for us at HPCD. Our interns conducted a wonderfully crafted assessment & rehabilitation workshop for the 200 youth within our placement initiative. This fostered understanding, growth and excitement amongst the youth as they geared to begin working in just a few days.
