ECU TWO SETTING FILES SWITCHER

The device allows writing and switching two files in ECU.

The device has a small size and may be placed in any place in ECU. Switching is performed by tumbler located in any suitable place of the car. The device works with any types of memories chips. The device is connected to the memory chip with only 5 wires.
Attention: It is impossible to use in ECU with immobilizer code stored in memory.

There are two possible variants of the installation:

1. Use the memory chip with storage space in two times greater. For instance 28F400 is installed in ECU then it can be replaced with 28F800 with two files written. Two files may be combined in one using hjsplit.exe program (is delivered in kit) or by command c:\copy Name1file+Name2file=Name3file /b . Then combined file may be written in memory chip of greater volume. The greater chip is fixed on board ECU instead of original one.

2. Use another memory chip of the same type like installed in ECU. The second chip is soldered over the original microcircuit installed in ECU.

Attention: When greater memory chip is installing pins Address Inputs may not be connected with board of ECU.
PIN 2 - for the chip of greater volume - is not used. for the second chip of the same type - CE(E) Chip Enable (second chip). PIN 5 - for the chip of greater volume - Address Inputs. for the second chip of the same type - CE(E) Chip Enable (first chip). The tumbler (switcher) is connected to PIN 3 and PIN 6.

Attention: Microcircuit 27C010 housed DIP has 32 pin (microcircuit 27C512 -28 pin). For 27C010 installation instead of 27C512 it is necessary to connect together pin1 to pin16, as well as pin 31, 32 and 33. When 27C010 is being installed on board ECU pins 1, 2 and pin 31, 32 should not be connected with board ECU.

Attention: While installing second chip of the same type pin CE(E) Chip Enable of the first and the second chips may not be connected with each other and with board ECU.
