Shape Shoulder All Sizes Row 1 (Wrong Side): Slip st in first 3 sc, working in front loops only, sc in each sc across, turn12 (13, 13, 14, 15) sc. Row 3: Slip st in first 3 (4, 4, 4, 5) sc, working in front loops only, sc in each sc across, turn6 (6, 6, 7, 7) sc. Fasten off. FINISHING Sew side and shoulder seams. Edging With Right Side facing, join yarn with slip st in a side seam on lower edge. Round 1 (Right Side): Work sc evenly spaced all the way around all edges of vest, working 3 sc in each corner of lower edge, and ensure that you have a multiple of 4 sts (the number of sts needs to be evenly divisible by 4); join with slip st in first sc. Place two markers on right front edge, placing first 1 above the ribbon row and the 2nd about 2 above the first. Round 2: Ch 1, sc in each sc around, working 3 sc in each corner and working buttonholes when each marker is reached, as follows: ch 1, skip marked sc, sc in next sc; at end of round join with slipst in first sc.
