Materials: Australian Merinos Lam Rosina, color 61 50 grams per ball, 175 yards 4 balls Size 7 circular needle or whatever size is required to achieve gauge Size 8 needle for bind off Finished size: width = 71 inches, length = 36

Gauge (measured after blocking): 7 sts = 2 inches 13 rows = 2 inches

Garter stitch and lace patterns.

lh = left hand side of needle st = stitch ws = wrong side rs = right side pm = place marker skp = slip 1 onto rh needle, knit 1, pass slipped stitch over k2tog = knit 2 together yo = yarn over p2sso = slip 2 st onto rh needle, knit 1, pass 2 st over the knit stitch INSTRUCTIONS: Cast on loosely 3 stitches. Knit 6 rows. Do not turn the work after the last row. Turn the work 90 degrees clockwise. Pick up and k 3 sts in the garter ridges on the edge of the piece (6 sts). Note: The first and last three stitches of each row are always knit to form the garter stitch border. This will allow the piece to lay flat.
