Sub:- First and Final Year Nursery Teachers Education Course Certificate Examination March 2013 reg. Ref:1. It is hereby notified that the First and Final Year Nursery Teachers Education Course Certificate Examination for the candidates undergoing the two years course introduced from 2004-2005 will be conducted from 12/03/2013 to 21/03/2013 as per the time table given in the notification. The examination will be in accordance with the revised curriculum and course. There will be Written Examination and continuous assessment for both First and Final Year candidates. 2. First Year Examination: Regular candidates studying for First Year Course can appear for this examination. They should obtain sufficient attendance during this academic year. Regular Second Year candidates who failed in any Theory Examination paper for First Year can re-appear for the same this year. They should submit separate application for this. The details of subjects, score and duration of First Year examination are as follows. FINAL YEAR EXAMINATION The candidates admitted to the institutions appended with this notification in the academic year 2011 -12 as First Year candidate and continuing as Second Year candidates in 2012 13 are allowed to appear for the Final Year Examination as regular candidates. Basis of Eligible is minimum C Grade in C.E. and T.E. in all papers. Those who have completed the course and failed in Theory Papers for First Year and Second Year can appear as Private Candidates for the subjects in which failed. 4. Time Table for First and Final Year Examination

5. Registration for the Examination Regular students need not submit application form. But Reappearing and Private

candidates should submit separate application. Certificate and examination fee should be submitted to the Head of institution where they have studied before the last date given. They should also submit an identification certificate as specified in notification along with the application. 6. Examination Fee (a) i. ii The Examination fee will be as follows. Fee for whole examination Fee for one subject Rs. 50 + 40 for Mark list Rs. 15 + 40 for Mark list. Rs. 10/-

Head of account for remittance of Examination fee 0202-01-102-99 Examination. Head of account for remittance in cost of mark list (Rs. 40/-) is 0202-01-102-92 other receipts.

(d)

Examination fee will not be accepted directly in this office. Candidates are directed to remit the fee before the Head of the examination centres only.

(e)

The fee once remitted will not be refunded or adjusted for a subsequent examination on any account

(f)

Candidates belonging to scheduled caste, scheduled tribe and other eligible community including Kudumbies and Xan converts from among them are exempted from payment of examination fee for two appearances provident that the second appearance is within a period of three years from the first appearance for the examination.

(g)

Examination fee and cost of mark lists collected should be remitted to the Government Treasury by the Head of the Examination centre under the respective head of account.

(h)

In the case of regular candidates as well as private candidates collective remittance in the name of the Head of the school will alone be accepted. Candidates should not remit the examination fee in the treasury in their own name. Such Chalan will not be accepted on any account.

Preparation of A and B list

All head of institutions will have to forward a copy of the order of Recognition received from NCTE to this office along with A and B list, countersigned by the Deputy Director of Education. The name of candidates should be noted in the A and B list as recorded in the SSLC Book/Card. a. b. A and B lists should be filled in Black ink. The subject and part in which the candidate appears for the examination should be clearly specified in the A list. c. Each page of A and B list should be attested by the Head of the Institute and countersigned by the concerned Deputy Director of Education. d. The Head of centre concerned will ordinary be the Chief Superintendent for the conduct of the Examination. Head of Institute should prepare A & B list for First and Final Year Regular candidates and get counter signature from DDE. They should prepare separate B list for re-appearing and private candidates and should submit the A and B list of the above four categories to the Chief Superintendent. The Chief Superintendent should prepare question paper statement based on A & B list and handover the same along with A and B list to the DEO concerned. Staff deputed form Pareeksha Bhavan will collect the same from DEO. 8. Publishing C.E. Score CE score of Regular Candidates should be published in the notice board of the institutions on or before 30/01/2013. 9. Practical Examination

Practical Examination for regular candidates will be conducted during February 2013. The Head of Institution as well as the Board Chairman should sign the practical mark list and affix seal for designation.

10. Admission Tickets Admission tickets of the candidates appearing for the examination will be issued by the Chief Superintendent of the centre concerned, three days before the date of commencement of the examination. Candidates should keep the admission tickets with them until the receipt if their certificates. Certificate to the successful candidates will be forwarded to the Chief Superintendent concerned immediately after the publication of the result. 11. Instructions to the candidates Candidates are requested to note carefully the particulars noted in the A list and satisfy themselves whether they agree with those given by them, so that any alternation with regard to their initials, name community or any other correction that may appear necessary may be pointed out by them in writing to the Chief Superintendent.

No candidate will be allowed to quit the examination hall before the expiry of the examination and the candidates arriving late after half an hour of the commencement of the examination will not be admitted on any account. .

12. Malpractice

Any candidate who commits or attempts to commit mal-practice in the examination may not be expelled immediately and may be allowed to sit for any papers subsequently in the examination provided she/he agrees in writing to abide by the decision taken by the higher authorities after holding proper enquires. Copying from another candidate or giving

convenience to another candidates for coping or speaking to another candidate or possessing any written or printed matter in the examination hall will be treated as malpractice.

13. Scrutiny of Valued Answer Scripts Scrutiny of valued answer scripts in the theory paper of the examination will be allowed, if required on production of a Chalan of Rs. 25/- per paper remitted in the name of the candidate under the Head of Account 0202-01-102-92 other receipts within 10 days from and including the date of receiving mark list by the Head of institution.. Belated application will be summarily rejected.

Candidates must be in possession of their admission ticket when they are writing the examination. Candidates should Scrutinize the entries made their admission ticket, point out mistakes if any and get it rectified. They must enter the name of examination, year and month of examination, Reg. No. and the name of the subject, only on the facing sheet of their answer sheet. Candidates who arrive more than 30 minutes late for the examination will not be admitted and no candidate will be allowed to leave the hall before the closing of the examination.
