Mining Law Examination for UNDERGROUND MINE MANAGER CERTIFICATE OF COMPETENCY: SAMPLE EXAM PAPER- 1
Time allowed: 3 hours. Please Note: In this paper Act means the Mining & Quarrying Safety and Health Act 1999 and Regulation means the Mining & Quarrying Safety and Health Regulation 2001. Section 1 (Questions 1.1 to 1.21) covers the Act and Section 2 (Questions 2.1 to 2.19) covers the Regulation Each question has an allocated mark which is notated with the question. Where a question is sectioned into more than one part, each part is worth equal value to other parts. In Question 2.3 two extra marks are allocated for answering parts in the correct order. Questions on the Act total 96 marks. Questions on the Regulation total 104 marks.
