Knife material is N690 Bohler and hardened to 58-60 RK. The handle is hippo tooth with top and tail in polished stainless steel. Scrimshaw depicts father lion snarling at his son. Comes with a buffalo hide sheath and fitted Kia-art case. The basic knife designs are laser-cut to our specifications from 2 meter sheets. For the investor of collectibles, historic pieces (which are thoroughly researched before crafting), trophy sets and for the client who designs their own knife, these knives are hand-cut on a metal-cutting band saw. Subsequently, all work is hand-crafted. The blades are then profiled and ground using the stock-removal method. All knives are vacuum heat-treated in-house, therefore ensuring a standard Rockwell of 58-60. The beauty of the knives not only lies in the blade, but in the artistic finish of the handles.
