Officers were dispatched to a Oakhill Circle residents for a reported past tense burglary. Upon investigation offices learned that a neighbor had seen the rear floodlight motion detector go on a house that was currently under renovation. This witness also observed a car similar to a Honda Civic hatchback parked in the street to the right of the driveway entrance of the house with 1 person in the driver's seat smoking a cigarette. He then saw another person run to the vehicle from the direction of the house. Entry was gained through a rear unsecured window to the house by removing a screen. There were several footprints visible in the fresh snow the homeowners reported nothing missing at this time. Case is still under investigation.
