Overseas exposure
I was mobilized for an overseas assignment which required telecom expertise in revenue assurance (RA) for a period of one month. The assignment scope included a process mapping, gap analysis and recommendation for RA controls for a listed entity in Maldives.

Outside school activities I was selected as one of the two students to represent Sri Lanka at the International Wilderness Experience 2006, held in Johannesburg, South Africa. This was an event organised to develop awareness on cultural integration and wildlife conservation. The event was sponsored by Cathay Pacific Airways Ltd. , over 50 students representing 15 countries from the Asian region participated in the event. I have obtained the PADI ( Professional Association for Diving Instructors ) license for open water diving in 2006. This is a license awarded for SCUBA (Self Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus).
