The Fifth Annual Hudson Valley Wine Competition (Non Commercial)

Under the auspices of the Hudson Valley Wine & Grape Association with the
participation and support of Cornell Cooperative Extension

Deadline Friday, April 3, 2009


How to Enter

To Qualify:
The competition is open to:
Wine made from 100% NY Fruit and produced & bottled in the Hudson Valley AVA
or
Wine made from 100% Hudson Valley Fruit, produced or bottled elsewhere

All entries must be commercially available in NY State at the time of the competition.

To compete inthe category of Hudson Valley AVA Wine, the wine must have been made from at
least 75% Hudson Valley produce.

No exceptions will be made.

We reserve the right to eliminate entries and retract awards given if these rules have not
been followed.

Entry Form
The entry form consists of pages 3 & 4 of this information packet. You are welcome to make
additional copies of the entry form. There are copies of this packet available at www.hvwga.com
Please fill out the form thoroughly for each wine (we are not responsible for wines entered in an
incorrect class).

Entry Fee
$10 per wine.
Make checks payable to Hudson Valley Wine & Grape Association

Deadline for Forms and Fees: Friday April 3, 2009

Deadline for wine shipment: Friday, April 3, 2009.

Early reservations for Awards Dinner Friday, June 12, 2009 at Terrapin Catering
at Disnmore, are recommended...$85 per person. Reservations deadline June 1, 2009
