tri-y HeAders
The Tri-Y Header is designed with an emphasis on maximum low and mid range torque, while making ample horsepower throughout the RPM range. The 4:2:1 Tri-Y header design makes it the ideal choice for trucks, tow-rigs, RVs and most street applications. The collector design makes this header one of our most efficient, which means youll see improvements both on the dyno and at the pump. A Doug Thorley Headers original design, the 4:2:1 collector specification on the Tri-Y Header is engineered to match your engines firing order and thereby maximize exhaust scavenging - the complete expulsion of gasses on the exhaust stroke. The Tri-Y design creates more useable power and torque than any other header design, making it the header of choice for enthusiasts who want the most bang for their buck. Modern engine compartments are crowded spaces, and seem to be getting even more crowded with every new year. Thats why weve developed our Shortie Headers to provide maximum performance in a compact, easy to install package. Our Shortie Headers replace restrictive stock manifolds with thick wall steel tubing for increased exhaust flow, but retain the factory mounting locations for emissions equipment to keep you street legal. The Shortie Header works great in applications where space is limited, and a Long-Tube or Tri-Y header just wont fit. Easy installation, more power and better fuel economy make the Shortie a winner. Our Long Tube Headers replace restrictive stock exhaust manifolds with long primary tubes designed to dramatically increase the flow of exhaust gasses, and reduce powerrobbing backpressure within the exhaust system. Allowing the engine to breathe more freely improves power and efficiency, making our Long Tube Headers one of the most cost-effective modifications you can make to your vehicle. The Long Tube Header is perfect for any highperformance street or strip application. Each header is constructed from thick wall steel, and all come finished with our beautiful ceramic coating for long-lasting performance. Eliminating restriction in the exhaust system to allow your engine to breathe freely is often the first step on the way to producing more power, and Doug Thorley Headers has over half a century of experience in doing just that. Our cat-back and turbo-back exhaust systems draw on that experience to deliver more horsepower and torque than restrictive OEM systems, and a satisfying rumble that lets others know you mean business. We build our cat-back and turbo-back systems using tough 16-gauge tubing for extra durability, with smooth mandrel bends for maximum flow and maximum efficiency! Each of our systems utilizes our exclusive Aero-Flow mufflers that feature straight-thru perforated cores, with no power robbing baffles or chambers, to produce maximum power and that signature Doug Thorley sound. Installation is as simple as bolting the new system up to the factory mounting locations, and each kit includes easy to use clamps to ensure a fast and clean fit without any welding required. As a finishing touch, most systems come standard with a decorative exhaust tip featuring a laser etched Doug Thorley Headers logo. Additional show-quality tip styles are available in a number of finishes, including super durable polished T304 stainless steel. Just like our headers, every Doug Thorley Headers exhaust system is made in the USA, and backed by our limited lifetime warranty to give you peace of mind. Pair one of our cat-back systems with one of our header systems for the ultimate in American made performance!
