BusinessPolicy,alsocalledstrategicmanagement,isconcernedwiththedevelopmentonmanagement ofstrategyunderresponsibleleadershipinavarietyoforganizationsinthecontemporarycontext. Thecourseintegratestheoryandpracticeusingcases,organizationallybasedprojectsandclass discussionofthesecasesandprojects.Thisappliedlearningintegratescasedecisionmakingfor understandingtheinterplayofstrategicleadership,policyformulation,andstrategicmanagementin strategyimplementation.Thecontemporarycontextinvolvesprivatesector,publicsectorandsocial enterprise.ThecapstonecasecourseintheBachelorofCommerceprogrambuildsonandintegrates concepts,techniquesandtoolsofthepreviousthreeyearscourseofstudies.Assuchstudentsare expectedtobesufficientlyfamiliarwithmarketing,financialmanagement,operationsmanagement, economics,humanresourcesandgeneralbusinessconceptsasbackgroundpreparation.
