-Building of the only super computer in East and central Africa, the Ihub cluster is an initiative of both Google and Ihub. -Coding of the environment and setup in NIX environment

-Web design and development of e-commerce websites and dynamic websites for several business clients. Speciality in Word press, Joomla and Prestashop. Working with several MVC frameworks including Codeignitor. Key sites include: http://ttuc.ac.ke/ www.primebins.com www.tsavosafari.com www.nyumbasafe.com among others -Development of Mobile Applications running on Android platform. Key applications developed include KwaRamani and Tafuta ID all developed on both Android and Symbian. (Both applications participated and were recognized in Android Africa Challenge 2012 -Development of wed based solutions for several clients including a Sacco rotary system with a backend MPESA integration module. The system has been deployed in two Saccos and currently under beta testing in a third Sacco. -Integration of data feeds from third party sources to websites (SMS, Databases etc)

FINLAYS HORTICULTURE KENYA

-Development of a system for manning the daily operations of the farm (HCOS).
Developed in Visual Basic. - Provide support to the regions Wide Area Network (WAN) and external links running on Wimax. -User support for in house software systems including Workmate, Scala, PU Database, Crop walker Fertilizer Application System and Road base Fleet Management System. -Joint running of several servers including ISA server, SQL server, Fileserver, server 2003 &2008.Daily backup of server data using the Symantec Backup exec. -Deployment of Microsoft Internet Acceleration Server (ISA) 2006, and set up firewall and access rules for internet traffic. - Deployed Windows Update Server (WSUS) for windows client updates, configured via Group Policy.

SIRAJI SACCO SOCIETY LTD

August 2011

- Setup of the Saccos Network (Cat6) with a Safaricom uplink. Configuration of their internal server running on Fedora 12 and the Cisco router. -Configuration of Active Directory on the windows server 2008, POP3 setup for their mail server running on Server 2008. -Windows SBS (Small Business Server) setup and maintenance. -Installation of Siraji Sacco Financial software to enable them to migrate to ATM Banking, by implementing Co-op switch ATM and Fin Extreme Sacco front and back office software. Currently the Sacco is achieving 99% uptime on ATM and Mobile Banking Services.
