Lazarus Come Forth!

Kundalini energy is a theme that runs throughout the ancient texts. But although kundalini is a major scriptural theme, it is usually discussed in code. Kundalini is the life-force of the body and the universe. It is considered so important because its proper cultivation can produce enlightenment, heal sicknesses, open the way to other dimensions, repel unwanted things, events and habits and attract desired things, events and habits. Many "people" mentioned in scripture are actually symbols for states of consciousness and/or energy. Samson, for example, is a Hebrew word that means "Sun." The famous Nazarite judge, then, is a symbol for the solar force operating within certain parameters. The solar force is another name for kundalini or chi. Because the art and science of chi cultivation was considered to be a secret, the ancient texts wrote about it in a veiled, symbolic way. Lazarus symbolises spiritual energy (chi) in a quiescent, dormant state. That is why Lazarus is said to be both "asleep" and "dead." Many scholars have written that Lazarus is a name that is derived from the Egyptian god Osiris. At first glance that seems fanciful. Yet, upon inspection, the Egyptian root becomes clear. Osiris, in Egyptian, is Asar. A study of the ancient cultures show just how pervasive was the Ausarian influence. The supreme god of several ancient cultures was Asar, Ausar, Asher, Ashur or a related name. Assyria and Syria are named after Osiris. The Semitic languages place the definite article "el" before names. The Greek language placed the suffix "is" or "us" after names. Lazarus is comprised of El-Asar-us. As time progressed, El-Asar" elided into "Lazar" just as "Saint Claire" has elided into "Sinclair."

As the Egyptian Ausar was the so-called god of the dead and lord of the underworld, so is the biblical Lazarus dead and, in another book, in "heaven." The Egyptian underworld is equivalent to the biblical heaven and hell. Or, more accurately, the biblican concept of heaven and hell were borrowed from the Egyptians. Now, there are seven important chakras (energy centers) in the body which are called "gates." Ausar (Lazarus) is regarded as Plutonian energy. Pluto is the planet of both immense wealth and of sexuality. In Luke, Lazarus lies at the rich man's gate. This describes the sad condition of most men in the world. The life-force energy is stuck at the sex gate or chakra, lying dormant and sick. Lazarus' body is covered with sores. This refers to Osiris' knowledge-body, i.e., the religious doctrines of the world. It also refers to a scientifically known fact that overindulging the sexual pleasure principle (repeated ejaculations) produces physical illness. In teenagers, this "self-abuse" produces acne (sores) on the face and sometimes over the whole body. Dogs go to poor Lazarus and lick his sores. The symbolic dogs represent the dog-headed gods Anubis and Apuat. Anubis was the archetypal embalmer of Osiris and "guide of the dead" (initiate). Apuat was the "opener of the way." Anubis represents positive thinking. Apuat represents a positive belief system. Licking the sores of Lazarus is a play on the Egyptian embalming ritual. Whether intentionally or accidentally, those words accurately prophesy the current New Age movement. The New Age movement's fundamental principle is the creation of one's reality through beliefs. It relies upon affirmation and, to a slightly lesser degree, visualisations to cause change to occur in conformity with will. The New Age movement, as it presently stands, is a step in the awakening and resurrection of the collective consciousness and divine energy known as Osiris (Lazarus).

Affirmations cannot fully revive Osiris, and that's why New Age people get partial or temporary results from their work. In fact, if they are honest, they will agree that after about five years of practice, they get diminishing returns and results from their work. Miracles which were once easy to perform take longer and longer to produce results. Such apparent setbacks are actually designed by their oversoul (Osiris) to prompt them to move to more advanced practices. Instead, unfortunately, most either give up altogether or start faking it and using deceit to get others to pay them for "channelled wisdom" that seldom amounts to more than platitudes pronounced with odd-sounding accents. I might poke fun at channelers (and other TV evangelists), but I am not putting the movement as a whole down. On the contrary, I'd love nothing more than to lift it up! Any movement has to ...move! The New Age movement is a little stuck right now as the neo-Sethians and the leaders are more into "showtime" than into advancing knowledge or providing effective techniques for creating the lives we choose. Jane Roberts and Seth started the modern New Age movement, perhaps unintentionally, and provided astonishing ideas that are immeasurably beneficial. Today, all kinds of ghosts, spirits and things that go bump in the night have gotten in on the act. We have old dead warriors, planetary governments, dudes from the center of the earth, distant star systems and who knows what supposedly channelling to us. But what is the value of their message? How much news we can use have they conveyed? P.T. Barnum said, "There's a sucker born every minute." Some people who claim to be channelling are just exploiting the suckers who were born in a given minute. In the story, Lazarus died and went to heaven (higher region of the subconscious). The rich man also died, but he went to hell (the lower region of the subconscious). The key thing is that Lazarus rests "in the bosom of Abraham." Say what? This is code for the rising of the kundalini force to the heart (bosom) region. But why Abraham? We have to switch over to the Quran, temporarily to follow the clue.

And when Abraham said to his father, Azar, "Do you take idols for gods? Surely, I see you and your people in clear error." - Quran 6:75 We shan't get into the subject of "idols" at this time. The above verse says that Abraham's father was Azar (Asar). In the Egyptian scripture, Asar's son is named Heru-Ur or Horus of Ur. Didn't Abraham come from "Ur of the Chaldees?" Let us, reluctantly, limit our discussion to the symbolic teaching that Lazarus (Osiris) went to heaven where he rested in the bosom of Abraham. And that, in the Quran, at least, his daddy's name was Azar (Asar). Now, the Bible gives Abe's daddy's name as "Terah." This apparent discrepancy can be resolved when we know that, among the Dravidians of India, Ausar himself was called Tarah. Terah and Azar are the same. The Egyptians credited Horus with Osiris' redemption. And Horus would regularly resuscitate his father to consult him on affairs of state. In the Tree of Life, Horus rules over the heart ("bosom"). To recap, then, Lazarus symbolises chi energy in a dormant state, stuck in the lower chakra (the rich man's gate). Chi is then transformed (Lazarus dies) and rises up to the heart chakra (Lazarus goes to heaven and rests in the bosom of Abraham). We encounter Lazarus again in the 11th chapter of John. This Lazarus is the brother of Mary Magdalene and Martha. Martha goes to Jesus because Lazarus is dead. By the time Jesus arrives in Judea where Laz is lain, four days have passed. Lazarus is buried in a cave with a stone cover in the cave's opening. The stone is rolled away and Jesus shouts: "Lazarus, come forth!" Laz then comes out of the cave bound hand and foot in "grave clothes." Serpents are symbols of kundalini. In Egyptian iconography, shakti (active kundalini) is

depicted as a goddess. Some hieroglyphics show the shakti goddesses as serpents with their feet bound. That represented that the kundalini energy was in an inert state. Lazarus with his feet bound represents the same. But unlike the Lazarus of Luke, this Lazarus was at the opposite end of the developmental spectrum. Luke's Lazarus was lying at the sex chakra, but the Laz of John is "dead for four days and lay in a cave." The "cave" is one of the symbols of the pockets in the brain where the pineal and pituitary glands are. Laz in the cave represents kundalini that has gone up to the highest level, the crown chakra. Four days symbolize four stages or four "worlds." In Hebrew mysticism, the four worlds are called Assiah, Yetzirah, Briyah and Atziluth. An initiate who has reached the highest level is called "the dead" for he or she has transcended the phenomenal world. Such a one sometimes neglects worldly activities such as bathing. So Martha tells Jesus that her brother, Lazarus, has been dead for four days and has begun to stink. The boy wasn't even taking baths. Jesus' function is to bring Laz (kundalini) back down into the world, i.e., to apply heavenly consciousness to mundane concerns. This is the real meaning of the Star of David. The upright triangle represents the raising of mundane forces to the higher realm. The inverted triangle represents heavenly principles and powers condensing into the mundane. Together, they represent reality. This is the same stuff we're about: Spiritualizing that which is material and materializing that which is spiritual. The purpose of reaching the heights of spirituality is not to permanently abandon the world. Rather, it is to function as a living god in the world from the perspective of one who has seen heaven. As Jesus said, "My kingdom is not of this world." The Pert em Hru (Egyptian Book of the Dead) says, "So I can do my will on earth." The true

master does his/God's will on earth after he or she has become a citizen of the heavenly kingdom. But Lazarus represented an initiate who'd become totally divorced from the mundane. Like some naked Hindu yogi, he remained in the highest state of consciousness and neglected even the most basic bodily necessities. He stank. Jesus had to bring the force back into the realm of humans. A master who ascends and then returns to help the less developed is called an avatar in India. Laz's napkin over his eyes symbolised the attainment of the thought-free state that is achieved in meditation at the third Tree of Life sphere, Binah. Binah's color is black and that blackness is symbolic of a state in which consciousness is at total rest. The yogis call that state samadhi. Jesus then commanded, "Loose him, and let him go." Let him go where? To explain where Lazarus (chi/kundalini) is supposed to go, we have to further explore the root of the name Asar. The Egyptians sometimes personified abstract principles by placing an "A" before the word that defined the principle. Nu (infinite energy) was personified by Anu. Min (mastery of sexual energy) was personified by Amen. Tem (nothingness, nirvana, the undifferentiated state) was personified by Atem. A-Sar (Asar/Osiris) is a personification of Sar. A Sar was the incredibly long orbit of the planet Nibiru, the place from which the gods were said to have come. In Kamitic (Egyptian language), Nibiru was written "Neteru." An orbit of Nibiru was called a Sar. And a Sar was equivalent to 3,600 earth years. Today, the Taoists teach students to circulate the chi in the microcosmic orbit 36 times. The 36 circuits commemorate the 36 hundred earth years which comprise on Nibiruan Sar. The Sar itself is a cycle, an orbit.

By telling the people to loose Lazarus (A-Sar), he was indicating that the chi must go in a Sar, in an orbit, and it should be done 36 times. Asar (Osiris) is a grand symbol of the kundalini circuit system and Lazarus symbolizes the condition of the chi at two ends of the spectrum, the lowest and the highest. Awakening the chi energy is the metaphorical resurrection of Osiris. The benefits of such an awakening include good health, long life, improved relations and eventual enlightenment.
