WELCOME!

Amendment One Passes in Georgia, Opening the Doors for More Students to Take Advantage of Charter Schools
In a 58-41 margin, voters in Georgia passed Amendment One, which will establish a state charter authorizer, providing families with the power to appeal to the state if a charter application is wrongfully denied in their area. Amendment One's passage marked the first statewide charter school bill to pass on ballot initiative in the country. Thank you to all of the families who knocked on doors, wrote letters to friends, and posted on their social media pages to advocate for support of Amendment One. Your hard work did not go unnoticed, as the passage of Amendment One is considered to be one of the greatest school choice victories of all time.
