I wonder, do angels cringe as they watch Christian after What does that minute mean to 96 people? Christian squander time, money life on trivial, unimportant, and temporal things? Americans, more than Its only 60 short seconds. Not that much time. It takes longer than that for a any other nationality on the planet, waste resources, study traffic light to change, a plate to warm in the microwave, or that annoying TV how to get the best, the biggest, the greatest and newest commercial to finish. In that same 60 seconds, according to the world thing, and invest in meaningless hobbies and time-wasters.

For instance, our nation, having only 50 States, contains around 1000 water parks, and anywhere between 90 and 450 amusement or theme parks, depending on the defining criteria. Studies have demonstrated that this is a multi-billion dollar industry. We live in a fun-loving nation. And the church often finds herself looking over the fence, coveting the American Dream yes even building after its blueprint of pride, selfishness, and stinginess.

Reliable sources indicate that most of the world lives on less than we spend on our pets and/or entertainment. And while thousands walk a mile to the nearest river for filthy drinking water each day, we water our grass and flush our toilets with cleaner water than they ever imagine drinking. Our kitchens and bathrooms alone have more light bulbs than can be found in entire homes throughout most of the world. Go and teach all nations (Mat. 28:19) is a command given to people who Come on! Now thats just an exaggeration!

So next time you say, Just a minute. Remember the 96 people that slipped into eternity within that minute, 40 of them were little people killed by doctors before they could even take their first breath. These 40 wee ones, though not considered human by many, are indeed a tremendously large percentage of the total number of deaths worldwide per minute. Adding both born and unborn deaths, our sum becomes 56 born people and 40 unborn on average who die within a minutes time. Ninety six souls within 60 seconds!!! If we had the heart of God, how would we respond to such staggering knowledge?

DO have Gods heart, in fact, His Spirit!! This is not a mystic kind of presence in us. This is the heart of God Himself; His passions, His desires, His joys and griefs, His very presence. Unfortunately, we more often than not choose to Is it? Look at how small America is on the globe. Our population pales in comparison with Asia alone, not to silence His voice and relish our own joys and passions instead. Keith Daniel mention Africa, South America and the Middle East! No, (listen here) says that the more a believer loves God, the more they will have the whole world on their heart, not just bits and pieces of the world. theres no exaggeration here.
While not all pleasure is a waste of time, energy and money, let us take time to consider the rest of the world billions who have never heard the good news of Jesus Christ and use His good gifts to further the proclamation of the Gospel! David Platt and John Piper, both well respected biblical ministers of the gospel, can be viewed here, addressing their concern over the wasteful materialism of the average American Christian, and how we can better invest time, energy, and resources for the glory of God among all peoples of the earth. Well, its MY life, and Its all about ME! No it isnt. Wake up to reality.

Do you have a favorite country favorite people? Well what about the people who didnt happen to be born in your favorite country. How much do you care about the people in Guinea-Bissau, what about the folks in Angola or Sierra-Leone (pictured above)? Do you love the people of Uruguay? What about Bhutan or Indonesia, and the islanders of Tonga? Do you even care that these people exist? Does it bother you at all if they end their lives today without ever hearing the Gospel? There is something that I have been pondering a lot recently. If God so loved the world, then it just makes sense that I should love the world too. So about six weeks ago I started a personal project. I began memorizing the countries of the world, region by region, and asking God for His passion for these 7 billion people in each of their unique cultures and religions, particularly for those who know nothing or little about Him and for those who hate God and His people.

Whats Keeping Arnah Busy?

I have been very busy working to earn the

funds needed for my fast-approaching year-and-a-half at New Tribes MTC. A few weeks ago I started handcrafting womans hair accessories to sell to neighbors and friends both in town and by post. As a fundraiser for my MTC tuition, every purchase goes 100% toward the cost of my missionary training with New Tribes, which begins on August 19th. Click here to view my handcrafted products. The total tuition for all three semesters is $7,287. At the present time, I am about $1,600 short of that goal and rejoicing as I witness Gods amazing provision through my nanny job, craft sales and kind donations.

I cannot watch the Death clock on Joshua Projects website without a feeling of urgency. Even so, come Lord Jesus!

Ive really enjoyed singing in the choir and teaching 2nd grade Sunday school this summer. Ive also enjoyed volunteering with my sisters as sidewalk counselors at a local abortion clinic. We speak with the women and offer abortion alternatives. A highlight of my summer has been weekly times of fellowship and prayer with my spiritual mentors, Dr. and Mrs. Crouch, nd 2 grade Sunday School Bible memory game! who share a common passion for the glory of God among all people. I own much of who I am to their example and influence over the past 13 years of my life.

What about Romania? Yes, Im still in contact with the people in Romania. And by Gods grace,
I still know and use the Romanian language. I talk with the Christians there as well as those who still need the Lord. As I pray for the world, I pray for Romania with all my heart. I desire to make brief return trip to Romania for the summer of 2013 (between New Tribes semesters) to assist with various camps and to visit ones who are dear to me. I speak with Cici frequently online. She is serving faithfully with her team in India, and seeing the Lord at work in the lives of her Indian students.

I am in contact with a couple here in Indianapolis who need the Lord. They have heard a thorough presentation of the gospel at least twice, and I am trusting that the Spirit will regenerate their hearts in His time. I will continue to contact them/visit as I have opportunity. With the heart of God which grieves for the 76,514 who have already died today (its only 1:23pm, and counting),

Intercede for the unreached, for families of Christian martyrs around the world and the salvation of their murderers. Pray for those who need Jesus (specifically the couple here in Indianapolis and a lady overseas and her boyfriend) Pray that the glory of God among all peoples would be my driving motivation for how I spend time and money. For daily submission to Gods Spirit. For humility, joy, and genuine love. / For my parents and siblings Pray for Cici and the staff in India, specifically for Cici as she prepares and teaches the discipleship students this week!
