MOORING ARRANGEMENT FOR REPLACEMENT BALLASTS PROJECT AT TBVN

1/ Purpose:
Safety for divers working at riser of TBVN. Safety for vessels and FPSO TBVN. Safety release without any accident/ incident to divers/crew and vessels in emergency case: weather condition change, current change, TBVN turning, unsafe condition.

2/ Demand: 2.1 Diving boat: - Supply vessel type (02 main engines and bow thruster): safety maneuvering purpose. - Length overall: 28- 50 m - Breadth: 8-12m - Deck room: 110 200 m2: enough room for diving equipment and 6 12 ballasts. - Beds and life craft for 30 35 persons. - Deck crane or deck winch with SWL > 3 T - Mooring ropes: 5 lengths, at least 60m /length. 2.2 DP vessel more than 5000 HP for towing and remaining the position to diving boat and herself.

3/ Method:
3.1 Mooring: Step 1 2 3 Description Diving boat connecting bow to stern DP vessel by towing wire of DP vessel. DP vessel towing diving boat to ahead of TBVN and between Group chains No. 1 & No.2. Distance from diving boat chain around 100 meters. DP vessel remaining the position. - Adjusting the towing wire. Stopping diving boat engines. Keep the safe distance between 2 vessels for divers in the water. - Divers going to the sea water for making fast the Rope S1 & Rope P1 to the chain of group chain No.1 & No.2. - Adjusting Rope S1, P1 and towing wire to close the rises of TBVN at the distance from stern of diving boat to risers about 10 meters. - Divers making fast the Rope S2 & Rope P2. - Adjusting Rope S1, P1, S2, P2 and towing wire to close the rises of TBVN at the safe distance from stern of diving boat to risers about 5 meters. All system fixing at position. Ready for divers working. Person in charge Master of Diving boat & DP vessel Master of Diving boat & DP vessel Master of Diving boat, DP vessel, leader of divers and OIM. Time 30 min 45 min 45 min

3.2 Unmooring: Condition to unmooring the diving boat- one of these below reasons: - Wind speed in 10 min > 25 knots. - Wind gust speed > 28 knots - Heading of TBVN change over 90 degrees basing on the 1st heading when diving boat make fast. - Required to unmooring due to any unsafe condition. Unmooring progress: Step 1 2 3 DP vessel towing diving boat to the standby area. Description All divers on diving boat. Let go Rope S2 & P2. Heaving towing wire for Rope S1 & P1 tight enough. Let go Rope S1 & P1 then DP vessel towing diving boat to clear out the group chains.
