Our new sermon series that started last Sunday is looking at Pauls first letter to the Corinthians. Paul is writing to a church in one of the largest cosmopolitan cities of the Roman empire. He is writing to a church that is gifted but flawed. A church that has been blessed by God but has lost its way and needs to discover how they should live as Gods holy people. We will be looking at what it has to say to us today to see how this most human of churches was called to become Gods holy people. Do catch up on any talks that you miss via podcast from the church website, or order a cd from the church office.

On the Edge:
Adventuring into the heart of God We have been looking together over the past weeks at how God is challenging us to move out into our community. Please do keep thinking and praying into where God is calling us both individually and as a church. We now want to move onto the next step and arrange some meetings among likeminded people, so please do tick the appropriate boxes on the form that is with this newssheet and return it.

Please pray for: Wendy Samuel as she recovers from a broken leg, for rest, healing and patience in the coming months All those going away with Emerge to the Oasts next weekend, for a god-filled and up-building time together.
