Description
It consists of a low impedence coil, metal rectifier and load resistance in each phase. This has to be connected in the system, as shown in Fig 1. During normal condition the relay coil is shorted with the fuse. Once the fuse blows, current flows through the relay and it operates. The load resistance 1K will come into picture when the system is lightly loaded.

Applications
B68F3 is basically an alarm relay used for supervision of fuses in the protection circuits. It will operate for single, two and three phase fuse failures. This can also be used for protection blocking where the protection relays operating time is more than 30 ms.
