FORMS TO COMPLETE & RETURN

If you have not done so already, please complete the blue Household Information Survey. With the return of these forms, Urbandale will be entitled to additional funds through Title 1. Also, we need the white Mid-Year Records Update form to have current information on all students in our data system. This is very important for parent contact in case of illness or other situation where a parent is needed.

LET US CELEBRATE MARTIN LUTHER KING JR.S DREAM There will be NO school on Monday, January 21st in observation of Martin Luther King Jr. Day
Living the Dream Holidays are special days. Some days are remembrance and some are days of celebration. Martins Day is both a day TO REMEMBER his work and dream, and a day TO CELEBRATE in the true spirit of community. But, most importantly, Martins Day is our day TO ACT on those issues for which he dedicated his life. Martin Luther King, Jr.s work took him to communities across our nation and around the world. He traveled a trail of freedom and the lives of people everywhere were touched in some way by his deeds. Martin said that everybody can be great because anybody can serve. On behalf of The King Center, I wish to thank you for hearing Martins message and for dedicating the holiday to the principles of racial equality and nonviolent social change.
