Vision Chetna Organic aims to improve the livelihood (options) of small farm holding households in India through making their farming systems more sustainable and more profitable.

Objectives

Stabilizing crop yields while promoting ecological farm practices. A 30-50% increase in the returns to farmers. Reduced outlays in health costs. Establishing and strengthening self sustaining farmer owned and managed association and company (COFA & COAPCL). Policy, advocacy and campaigns relating to institutionalization of responsible credit, insurance,market policies and agro-ecology. Self-organization development of entrepreneurship: being a business partner in the textile chain rather than dependent on individual payments by money lenders/traders (group trading and holding equity at various levels in the supply chain). Up-scaling the production of organic/NPM agricultural produce by small holder farmers in India such that volumes become a significant part of mainstream trade.

Farms have improved conditions for labor. Enabling Govt. policies in support of revitalizing rainfed agriculture.

Vision To be a most well-loved, reputable and respectable organic farm and learning centre, recognised locally as well as internationally. Mission 1. Provide quality produce at an affordable price to those customers who care for their families health and our mother Earth. 2. To create a sharing and learning platform of Organic Farming and Organic Living. Strategies 1. Comply with the 4 principles of Ecological Agriculture: a) Diversity b) Living soil c) Recycling d) Multi-Storey Structure 2. Extensive use of the Natural Farming method promoted by Mr. Cho Han Kyu of Korea . 3. Maintain ecological balance by not killing any insects and animals intentionally and allocating a little forest within the farm for small animals to stay. 4. Energise the farm environment and hence the farm produce by displaying good words within the farm, adopting Mr. Masaru Emotos teaching, in his book, titled The Hidden Messages in Water. 5. Ensure workers safety and their general welfare. 6. Provide periodic training/education programs to workers. 7. Optimise demand (customer base) and supply (output). 8. Share with customers by getting them to visit the farm. 9. Process oveproduction of vegetables and fruits to ensure minimum wastage. 10. Use past experience and recorded data to increase productivity, efficiency and to lower production and maintenance cost.
