NOTES 1. Annual Rideway members please send two passport photographs for your membership card (or photographs of horse if appropriate - see 3) 2. Cheques should be made payable to Escrick Park Estate and sent to Escrick Park Rideways, The Estate Office, Escrick, York, Y019 6EA. 3. Horses can become members of the Escrick Park Rideways. Seperate membership necessary for shared horses please telephone for details. 4. Application forms must be completed and returned before riding and upon receipt we shall send you your Membership Card and Rideways Map. on and it is safe to continue. Regretfully it is impossible to advise members of the exact location of the shooting although dates can be issued on request. 4. Members are asked to report any damage done to any jumps or other property on the Estate, to enable us to keep up our standards of safety and maintenance. 5. Although we have attempted to make the course as safe as possible, Escrick Park Estate cannot be held responsible for any damage or injury to riders, horses or their property. We recommend that riders inspect jumps at all times. 6. Approved Hard Hats and body protectors must be worn when riding and riders are advised to ride in pairs. 7. Mobile phones must be carried for contact with the Estate Office or emergencies services if required. 8. The course is open every day. We do however reserve the right to close any parts of the course due to poor conditions.

9. Cyclist are not allowed on the course, however, to accompany a loan rider, special permission may be granted by Escrick Park Estate. 10. Dogs are not allowed on the course, but may walk with owners to the Temple and back under close control. 11. Any Riders under the age of 16 must be accompanied by an adult. 12. Escrick Park staff and Rideways Stewards have the right to ask all riders for identification at any time. 13. All riders using the obstacles must be of a competent riding ability to attempt. 14. Escrick Park Estate will hire out the course to various Clubs and groups, including carriage driving events. A full list of Event dates may be obtained from The Estate Office or via our website www.escrick.com on the Rideways pages. TERMS & CONDITIONS OF MEMBERSHIP 1. Rideways tracks are signed by black markers (Cross country course) or blue arrows (extended hacking). Please follow these tracks carefully and respect the Country Code. No deviations from these routes are permitted. 2. Please carry your membership card at all times when riding on the Rideways. Any person found riding the course without membership of Escrick Park Rideways will be asked to leave immediately and may be prosecuted. Please do not abuse these facilities. 3. Shooting Game. Shooting takes place around the Estate from mid September to the end of January. To avoid upset when you hear shooting or see the shooting party, please either change course or wait until the shooting party moves
