Classroom management 1.1 Cleaning of the classroom 1.2 Checking of attendance 2. Motivation As a teenager, what are the common changes that happen to you? What do you do to cope up with those changes? 3. Unlocking of Difficulties

1. Letting difficulties get into our lives will put us in a situation from which we might no be able to extricate ourselves. 2. Many people allow themselves to be intimidated by the problems in life, but others are not frightened. 3. She was timorous when she first talked but as she went along, she felt less and less nervous. 4. When he learned that he failed the examination, he thought of quitting school. But after sober considerations, he realized that it would be unwise.

5. In lifes journey, it is but normal to encounter conditions of hardship or what we call adversities.

B. During Reading Guide Questions: 1. Why are traumatic experiences in life events inevitable parts of life? 2. What changes seem to cause us the most problems? 3. What is the best approach to successfully deal with a major change? 4. Point out the six major kinds of change. Cite examples. 5. Among the major changes discussed, which do you consider the hardest to cope up with? Why? 6. Give some suggestions for dealing with change. 7. Which of these suggestions do you regard the most in terms of helping you and others cope with change? 8. Did you realize something after reading the selection? 9. Do you agree that the suggestions enumerated would help you and others cope with change? Support your answer. 10. Are there any suggestions that you can share aside from the ones given? Share them with your classmates.

C. Post Reading Divide the students into four groups then ask them to do the tasks assigned to them. Group 1: Present a short skit depicting the changes you had made in your life. Group 2: Explain why life is always beset on changes. Group 3: Compose a song or a poem related to the lesson. Group 4: Come up with quotations related to coping with lifes changes. IV. Agreement Write an essay, at least 300 words, about the changes that happened to your life and how you were able to cope up. The essay will be written on a whole sheet of paper. That will be submitted tomorrow.
