Lemon Bread Accents 48271 Fabulous for open smoked salmon sandwiches or as an accompaniment to a poached salmon salad.

Works well with fish and chicken as a sandwich bread too. Loaf Size:1lb Size (use 1.5lb setting for a 1lb loaf size) Breadmaker Setting: 1 Basic Ingredients 1. 2. 3. 4. 5. 6. 7. 8. cup tepid water 2 tbsp skimmed milk powder 2 tbsp sunflower oil 1 tbsp sugar 1tsp salt Zest of 2 lemons 2 cups strong white bread flour 1 tsp fast action yeast

Method 1. Take the pan out of your machine by lifting the handle, turning anti-clockwise and lifting. This removes the risk of spillages inside the machine when measuring ingredients. 2. Attach the kneading blade to the shaft by pushing gently. 3. Measure the ingredients into the pan in the order they are listed above. This ensures the best mixing and therefore the best result. 4. Put the pan back into the breadmaker turning it clockwise to lock it into place. Close the lid. 5. Plug the machine into the power and turn the switch on at the back of the machine. The machine should automatically be set to basic bake and normal time. 6. Check Basic Bake programme is selected and that loaf size is set to small. 7. Select preferred crust colour by pressing the colour button 8. If you wish the bread to be ready later, set the time delay button (please refer to the instruction booklet). 9. Press the start button. 10. When the loaf is ready, the machine will beep and the loaf tin can be removed using an oven glove, be careful as it is very hot. 11. Allow the bread to cool in the pan for 15 minutes before turning pan upside down and tapping the loaf onto a rack.

Delicious freshly baked or toasted with a little butter or soft cream cheese - the perfect way to start your day. The following ingredients should be added during the second kneading cycle when the beeper sounds to signal the addition of nuts and seeds* 1. cup dried cherries or cranberries 2. cup roughly chopped nuts (mixture of almonds, hazelnuts and macadamias) 3. 1/2 cup chopped dried apple rings

When the cake is ready, the machine will beep, the time remaining will be at 0. 10. Leave the cake in the tin in the breadmaker for a further 10 minutes. The loaf tin can be removed using an oven glove, be careful as it is very hot. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for a further 10 minutes before turning the pan upside down and tapping the cake onto a cooling rack. 11. Warm the marmalade until it becomes liquid by microwaving it or heating gently in a small saucepan. Spoon on to the top of the cake and serve.

Make the dough in your breadmaker and then cook the doughnuts and toss in vanilla flavoured caster sugar. Makes about 8- 10 medium sized doughnuts. Re-roll dough and continue until the dough is all used. 11. Place doughnuts apart on a baking sheet and allow them to rise till doubled in size (this should take approximately 30 minutes). 12. Meanwhile heat the oil in a deep fat fryer to 180c. Fry the doughnuts in small batches, occasionally stirring and turning them using a slotted spoon. 13. Drain on kitchen paper and while warm toss in a bowl of caster sugar, which has been stored with a vanilla pod for a wonderful, vanilla flavour. 14. Eat when cooled.
