I learned to be patient, calm, understanding and empathetic both when it came to this child, as well as with the other children participating in the camp. I learned to be fast, and think on my feet, creative and try new ideas as a means of keeping this child entertained and happy, problem solve when things didnt go according to plan and most of all I learned to respect each individual child for their self, the way they are, and for what they each taught me.
